I have ordered delivery while at work several times. They are always consistent with flavor. The food is always fresh. Their house fries are always consistent with being soft and crunchy at the same time. I am really smitten with their delicious giant cinnamon rolls, I have ordered these a few times each time they fluffy and fresh.

Total local diner. It is a dive, but I love a good dive and Dave’s is definitely that. They have great soups made in house and my mom lives to eat here. She is kind is persnickety about places, but Dave’s won her over.

Not allergy safe. Terrible customer service. I clearly indicated a severe dairy and egg allergy to them and received my order half burnt with some yellow residue on the plate from eggs or buttered bread. When all I ordered was bacon. Disgusting hygiene and ridiculous service.

HOWEVER…
IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT.
I have only been there twice and had the same thing, their chili cheeseburger. 1/2 pound of beef, homemade chili that has a strange tartness that really works well, drowned in cheese and fresh onions. A panko type breading on the fries that has a great texture and flavor that could be a meal of itself. Unless you are starved, you likely will not be able to finish the meal. Portions are big. Consider taking sone home for later.
Breakfast isn’t all day, a shame as I really want to try some out.
Atmosphere is a diner. Booths, easy comfortable service that usn’t in your face nonstop trying to push for tips. Laid back, easy, good service that warrants a tip because quality is just that.
Is it expensive? Yes, but so are most places these days. I think unlike a Denny’s or Red Robin, you’ll get bigger servings of much better meals at Dave’s.

This was my third time going here. I’ve ordered the same thing three times. This time I had one of my coworkers by one as well. But this time the food was a little bit different. The portions where not the same. I asked for peppers and onions not to be added to it and it was in it. I had it for extra jam for my toast and I did not get any I also had asked for utensils the last couple times and never got them. This time the food tastes different. There was a lot of grease on my plate in the hash browns what kind of undercooked. Don’t get me wrong I will go back again. But I was just satisfied with this order. I had ordered two skillets for $18 each

This is a classic old school diner and we love them so I was excited to order chicken fried steak. What I got was a steak cooked on the grill with onions piled on top. It was just ok and the service was good but again NOT what I ordered. Minor issue. Hahaha. We were guests of a relative so I didn’t make a fuss. They should Google chicken fried steak. Dave’s has gone downhill. Ridiculous you have to pay $2.00 extra for try tots instead of fries when they are the same price on the menu. I asked for mayo on my italian sub instead of italian dressing but got it anyway and no mayo. Not worth it to send it back MY husband got fish and chips. He liked his lunch. He had 2 beers and I had iced tea and it was $50.00 before tip.
