I’m a Jack Kerouc level traveler. I seem to find when in any city the absolute best spot for food.
It’s because I’ve spent many years in the industry. This is the absolute best food for the price.
You want fresh food that you would make at home, with such variety I’m not here long enough.

I’ve seen the same locals here which tells me two things, tourists like me love to eat where those who know the area would regularly eat at.
Price to food is incredibly reasonable.

We had heard about this place before coming to and decided to try it out. The Alien Urine Sample cocktail was amazing! It was so tasty. We had coconut shrimp as an appetizer. Then ahi tuna and pecan chicken salad. It’s your typical bar atmosphere. For everything with tip we spent $125. We’d go back for drinks if we were in town again.

I come to Dave’s A LOT! I live 2 blocks away and it is my go to restaurant when I wanna get out. I was there 2 Thursdays ago and it was packed. My date and I chose to sit outside, as did the 2 groups in front of us. MIA, the hostess, was literally the only good part of the evening. She sat us immediately and let us know there would be a delay due to them being short staffed. HOWEVER, the 2 groups seated in front of us, by a minute of two, received drinks and apps because a waiter came to our table. Mia noticed this and not only got us a waitress but also asked the manager to allow our first drinks to be a part of the happy special. (We were seated at 6:25 happy hour ends at 7 and our waitress took our drink order at 7:10) There was no apology from the manager or waitress. Mia was the ONLY person that cared about our experience. AND the only reason I still frequent Dave’s 2 to 3 times a week

Absolutely fantastic experience at Dave’s Last Resort! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Jay, our server, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations throughout the evening. We started with the blackened grouper, which was cooked to perfection—flavorful, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth good. And don’t even get me started on the key lime pie; it was absolutely to die for! Jay’s service and suggestions truly elevated the entire experience, making our dinner unforgettable. Highly recommend Dave’s and be sure to ask for Jay—you won’t be disappointed! 5 stars all the way!

This place is SOLID. Food was really good with lots of quality choices. Ice cold beer was served perfectly, atmosphere was the best with indoor and outdoor seating (front was opened up and was nice) and even their desserts were good. I’d highly recommend this place if you’d like good seafood, burgers and more with a quaint, but upscale sports bar vibe. My peel and eat shrimp were good but I’ll go back hungrier next time and choose one of many other dishes next time. My key lime pie (pictured) was creamy and really good, I’d get it again.

I had no problems with the waitress and her service, very sweet. However the food is where the issue stems from. I used to come to this establishment for my birthday almost every year but I have not been in quite some time, I decided to order my usual appetizer which was the coral reef dip that was supposedly made with 3 different cheeses. It was TERRIBLE tasted like they used Velveeta cheese and this used to be my all time favorite app to order! Never again, so I decided to take my “dinner” Togo which was Sues seafood “casserole” which was more like a side dish again, for the prices and portion sizes and taste this was not worth it AT ALL!

My wife and I stopped here for a beer and an appetizer on June 20th, 2025 while exploring the “downtown” area of Lake Worth along its main drag (Lake Ave). It’s essentially a local sports bar with full liquor and a good sized food menu. Looks like it’s the “go to” place for the locals who are sports fans, and everyone there was friendly, particularly the staff. There is a small free parking lot about half a block southwest of the restaurant where we parked, and it was open until 2 am. We might go back here for dinner the next time we visit the Palm Beach area because the appetizer we ordered (firecracker shrimp) was excellent, and the prices on the menu are very reasonable in a high-cost-of-living area where that’s not very common.
