TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We went there yesterday after the movies to try the new Mozz sticks. We go fairly regularly and love it. I have climbed the whole heat ladder and like medium to hot. Always great service and not the first time the manager has gone above and beyond for us. I am so sorry I didn’t get her name but she hooked us up before on the chaotic Drake’s birthday free day.
So we were excited to try the Mozz sticks after seeing them online. But they were sold out. It was a Saturday night around 9pm or so. We got some other things and when I went to pick it up I asked her when they might get more. She offered to double check and see what she has because it might not be back in stock for a few days. As we were eating she brought us a secret stash on the house. Peak customer service and we loved the new Mozz sticks! Definitely recommend and hopefully Dave’s recognizes the great team running Salem spot!

As a customer, I could not have asked for a better experience with Chriss. He was extremely helpful, patient, and made sure everything was handled smoothly from start to finish. Ordered the chicken sliders and the chicken tenders with fries and mac and cheese and some shakes. Absolutely phenomenal food! The chicken is always succulent and juicy, and the portions are great. The shakes? My god. Even just a plain chocolate is so dang good. The fact it’s made with actual chocolate ice cream and not just vanilla with chocolate syrup makes all the difference. I have nothing negative to say! We will be ordering again.

Hugo was simply awesome. He observed from afar that we were running out of the Daves hot sauce. He was so kind as to bring us a bunch of the sauce packets as well as the honey (he must have observed we had extra hot tenders in the box).
Great place, lovely food (as usual) and hard working, ever so friendly and smiling staff.

We had an awesome experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken thanks to Chris! The food was excellent, fresh, hot, and came out quickly. The restaurant was super clean, and Chris went out of his way to explain the heat scale so we knew exactly what to order. He had a great sense of humor, was incredibly friendly, and made the whole visit even better.
Highly recommend stopping in and definitely hope Chris is the one helping you out!

Today I got a Mac and cheese, medium hot slider, and 2 reaper crispy tenders. It was really good and there service here is amazing especially Jordans service, she was very kind, respectful, and professional. Very friendly staff and I would recommend this place to others…. Tried the reaper guys…it’s really not that spicy .. feed it to your grandma, I bet she’d like it

I got the combo #2. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was fun but the chicken wasn’t anything exceptional. I will say that the portion size was appealing, but the price point was not. I spent more than $15 for this lunch meal. I did leave full! Just another decent chain chicken restaurant!

Everything positive you e heard about Dave’s hot chicken is true. True chicken glory. Beware of the spice levels above medium. They are exactly what they describe. Really love this place. I recommend a tender and slider. Get extra Dave’s sauce on the side
