TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We love Dave’s and this location was just as good as the others. Friendly staff super clean and food was delicious. First time trying the mac and cheese and really enjoyed super creamy! This was our first time noticing that you get a discount when ordering using the touchscreens as oppose to the counter.

The best fast food fried chicken I had in the US. I tried their mild, hot and extra hot spice levels and thought the hot had the best balance. The sliders are excellent as well.

8.31.24 – Nice new, clean, and great food. A bit costly ($60+ after taxes), but really delicious, moist chicken tenders, crispy seasoned crinkle fries are addictive. This has to be a once in a while treat. Honestly Carl’s Jr/ Hardee’s has the best tenders and fries and no where near as expensive as Dave’s. we Ordered a box of ten tenders with a box of fries … lasted my family two days. The seasoning on the tenders is A LOT. Thought they would be super hot because of the amount of bright red spice, but not spicy at all. Note: I did not order the spiciest tenders.

Great food! Large portions! Wonderful friendly staff! Just found Dave’s in Aug 2025 and absolutely love it! This Restaurant is great just sad that it is in such an overrun drug and homeless infested shopping center with little to no lighting. This is truly hurting this Restaurant’s revenue as many many people will not go in this shopping center after night. If this restaurant can get the owners of this shopping center to properly light it and place some security, I can all but guarantee their after dark business would at least double!

I also happened to forget my purse there and the nice cashier let the manager know that I might have left my handbag behind and they put it in the safe for me until I was able to retrieve it. Such amazing customer service and a bunch of honest and proactive workers.
