TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This is the second time we’ve tried Dave’s Chicken, but the first time in Riverton. The store is clean, the staff super friendly and we got our food really fast. There are so many Chicken restaurants in this area, definitely one of the better ones. Chicken is juicy and crispy outside. It makes it better with the Dave’s sauce and honey. Fries are also crispy and we love the seasoning.

First time trying this! Staff was friendly, fast, and food was delicious. I ordered a light mile Dave’s number three because I have acid reflex and it is the perfect level of the heat for me. I didn’t even wait until I got home to eat it and grubbed in the car.

Overall, not a bad chicken restaurant. The fries were well seasoned and cooked well. They give you the option for levels of spice for the chicken, but it was dry. Drinks are not included with your meal unfortunately. The atmosphere was psychedelic and cool and staff were friendly.

Great service, they are super nice and organized. Personally I like Houstons hot chicken better, they have thicker chicken pieces and better fries. But still good chicken! Interesting that it comes with a piece of plain white bread.

The food was delicious. I would say that i like this better than Houston Hot Chicken. It’s not as good as Hattie B’s, but it’s the best I’ve had in Utah. The staff was very friendly and quick!

I’m still waiting for my food but this place is spotless and has a super welcoming vibe. Ashton took my order and is a super nice guy and gave good information on what to order. I’m sure the food is I’ll be just as good as the service if not better.
