TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This was my first time trying Dave’s. I bought the Fallout meal. They ignored my request on the app to add extra napkins. My meal was missing napkins, utensils, and the fallout stimpack that I paid a premium price for. My coleslaw cup was inside the box with the wings, so that container got all covered in sauce. I don’t know why they would put the coleslaw inside, but not the ranch. The chicken was okay, but not worth the extra cost of the meal. I left feedback on the app detailing this and the manager texted me saying that they’re sorry but they ran out of “fallout toys” even though this is the first day of the collaboration. It’s false advertising for you to sell the meal without the stimpack that I paid extra for. I don’t plan on going back again and encourage anyone who does buy here to open your bag to see if the employees are actually packing what you paid for before you leave the store.
I’m editing this review after corporate sent me a 15$ coupon. The store manager did nothing to make things right, but corporate did. They apologized for the store failing at their job and invited me back. On my second trip they put the napkins and utensils in the bag. The food was delicious and properly packaged.

I come into Dave’s hot chicken at least once a week because it is always AMAZING! Not only is the food incredible, every single time I come in but Mackenzie is so sweet and takes awesome care of us!!

Dave’s Hot Chicken in Fort Collins absolutely crushes it! The hot spice level hits that perfect sweet spot – I’m comfortable with my manhood and haven’t worked up the courage for reaper yet. Hats off to Joshua for the recommendation — the chocolate Lucky Charms Top-Loaded shake? Pure genius. Incredible flavors that’ll have you coming back for more. This place delivers.

First time here and we probably won’t come back. I was surprised first that they charge you for dipping sauces like ranch and bbq. Then when you go to pay they ask for a tip my question is why. They don’t do anything you walk to a counter order your food then when it’s ready you walk up and pick it up. They do give you a good portion. They chicken had a sweet taste that we didn’t like. I do like the fries with cheese sauce.

I was an hour out of town today on an errand and I’ve ALWAYS wanted to try Dave’s. I stopped in and was met by Josh (I think). He was soooo nice and friendly and bubbly and fun! I explained it was my first time there and he asked if I wanted a run down of how things work. After I got my food, another associate stopped me to see if I needed more sauce or honey or anything. The place was very clean and a really fun out of the ordinary decor. 10/10. Very impressed

Such a dope spot! Alex is the man, he took good care of me and made me feel very welcome. Everybody was on their A game as far as customer service goes and it was a nice change of pace compared to a lot of other fast/casual dining experiences these days. I highly recommend this spot, the food is fire and it’s just an overall good vibe here.

Evan was an AMAZING and very smart, and generally well informed on local chicken! Had an amazing conversation and I can tell he was generally well regarded by his fellow co workers, he really loves his commmunity! He loves his job, hadn’t a single complaint just plain humbled to be in his position as is. I find these local Foco-ians and I’m reminded why I have made this city my home! Food was very good as always (I’ve been many times and THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CHICKEN SPOT TO GO TO, I HEAVILY RECCOMMEND DAVES) perfect recipe, hot has always been my go to! Thank you forthe service and for a wonderful crew 🙂 it’s the recipe that brings u but it’s the ppl that have you stay! Love y’all, and I only recommend this lace if ya wanna ditch the line at canes!!!
