TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Omg!!! Our teenage son has been asking to go here for the past couple months! We were in the area and decided to stop by! I am so glad we did! The customer service..the atmosphere..the food..everything was 10/10! The manager, Meka. was the absolute BEST! She asked if it was our first time and then proceeded to break down the menu for us and explain everything!!! 10/10!!! Pure excellence!!!! Her hospitality and patience was impeccable! We tried the mild sliders and bites. The fries..Mac n cheese…on point. The drinks!!! We had shakes and slushes…and everything was on point!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

I went to the Dave’s In Orlando for the first time and I wasn’t impressed. It was late evening and the place wasn’t busy at all. I ordered one mild and one hot strips. I was not impressed. the food was warm. It wasn’t fresh at all. Food has to be made fresh to be able to enjoy it. I went to this location in st.Louis and it knocked my socks off. It had flavor and they made it fresh and it was hot like it should be. It was a packed house with customers coming in and out and no place to sit until somebody left. Nice and clean restaurant. Totally different experience from the location In Orlando. Will most definitely be going back there again. I hope they put a location In southern Illinois in the metro east area. Dave’s and replace flavorless Cains in our area.

Great atmosphere, chicken and fries is off the chain amazing, employees were all smiling, diligent, and professional. The restaurant was also clean. I usually go to Chick-Fil-A, but this is on a whole new level. Like it’s unbelievably good, and the place has a really cool vibe. This will be my new go to fried Chicken joint

Tried this spot with the kids. There is a nice vibe here, with decorated walls and music. I like spicy food so tried the reaper. Should have have changed my order when I had to sign a waiver. It was good, but the back end heat was a killer and I only got through half the sandwich. Will go with Extra Hot next time. The fries were good though and kids said that the chicken was good.

We were really surprised by how large the tenders were. The crinkle fries were the perfect mixture of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The atmosphere was very ‘loud’ and colorful. It was really busy and the wait took a little bit but is to be expected for as big as the chicken was. My son also got the Mac and cheese. It was very creamy and delicious. Limited menu options but lots of levels for spice to add to your chicken.

I always used to eat there and I’m always happy on evenings when I have Daves. But tonight was a complete disappointment. It tasted like straw and had no flavor; something was missing, I think. And the fries were so hard, they must have been sitting around for a while. I’ll go to other locations now; I don’t think I’ll give this one another chance. It was a total disappointment for me.
