TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Had been waiting for Dave’s Hot Chicken to open. Well Worth the wait. We had the slider/tender meal…medium, and the 2 tender meal…mild. Delicious!!!
Their heat comes from a dry rub as opposed to sauce. The fries were nicely seasoned. The Pickle were spicy (reminds me of the Famous Dave’s spicy pickles). Read some reviews that said it was pricey for Chicken Tenders(our bill was $35ish for 2), maybe to some but they are huge. We both ate a tender each & brought the other one & the sliders home. That’s dinner tonight.
IT was a bit crazy but they kept the line moving & the orders coming out.
With the place being busy & the quick turnover of the tables the place was clean with employees quickly cleaning empty tables. The bathrooms were also clean. A+++
They have shakes & slushies. They serve coke products.
Can’t wait for dinner tonight & am looking forward to go back & try something else.

I have heard about location and it’s a hit and a miss . So I had to come find myself. So with that being said I came. And I must say first thing I noticed was the environment it was very welcoming the music was versatile. The workers were very attentive in helping my order what would possibly be a good fit for me. Explained every question that sparked my interest. Trey the manager was beyond nothing less than exceptional. He took his time in explain the different things on menu . The presentation of the food omg nothing less than what Trey said it would be. I give my first experience a 10 and it’s hard to get a 10 from me I’m a tough critic lol thank u Trey for such a great first time at Dave’s Hot Chicken it was a pleasure

Our first time here was on my daughter‘s 12th birthday. The cashier Jackie greeted us upon entry, she got us our drinks, And even handed me a lid while filling the straws. She definitely went above and beyond making our first experience amazing. The food was also bomb! Definitely a new family favorite.

Went here a few months ago before the Chris Brown concert to grab something quick to eat & also because we had heard good things on Tiktok. The chicken was disgusting, the fries were the best part of the meal which was sad. Will not be returning. I will say the service was good & out to us in a reasonable time.

One of the best halal tenders in STL! We ordered chicken tenders in two spice levels—plain and hot. The hot was very spicy but also incredibly delicious. Next time, I’ll probably try a level down for a bit more balance. The plain tenders, on the other hand, felt a little too mild compared to the spicy ones.
The portions were generous, and we really enjoyed the crispy breading. Our pickup order was packed neatly with everything we needed. Overall, a great experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

The line was long, but for such wonderful food, it was worth it. We got our food about 3 minutes after ordering and the line was out the door, but it only took about 10 minutes to place our order. I got mild seasoning and it was perfect. Kent got hot and it was HOT!!! He loved it! The sliders are great and their signature sauce is great on both chicken and fries. DO NOT FORGET TO ORDER THE BEST COLD SLAW I have ever eaten. We brought food home so that tells you the servings are generous!! Everyone was having fun and talking to each other. The owner was out front in the seating area constantly checking to be sure all was good, clean, and taking a few minutes to greet arrivals. I really recommend this fast food location where the food is tasty, hot, and ready in minutes!!

We went around 8:30 after visiting our kid in the area. To my surprise the place filled up after we ordered. The food was pricey for chicken tenders, sandwiches, and bites. The sliders were enormous and could have just gotten one each. We did medium, mild, and hot. Good kick and mild made me sweat. My kid loves hot.
