TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Always have a great experience at Dave’s. This location consistently delivers fresh food and does it pretty quick. Two tenders may not sound like enough but they are actually pretty huge. Fries are always perfectly crispy and seasoned. No matter what spice level you choose, you’ll get chicken that’s full of flavor! Definitely suggest asking for honey!

Food is a 10/10 per usual but every time I go through the drive thru they ALWAYS forget something ask for extra sauce? Nah you get no sauce tell them make sure to put a fork in the bag?nah never a fork I have to go inside and say something every single time drive thru guy always has a horrible attitude and manager is always sitting in the back on his phone and has a horrible attitude too. Super friendly staff. The restaurant has been VERY clean every time I’ve gone. The food is consistently delicious. In an area where there’s like five chicken restaurants within a mile of each other, having one that actually has vegetarian offerings is amazing. The Not Chicken items are ridiculously good, the cauliflower is cooked to perfection, not remotely tough or chewy. I hope they’ll keep it as a staple!

The food was delicious. The batter on the medium spicy chicken bites perfect for bite and flavor but not overwhelmingly spicy! Great sauce and seasoned tasty fries still good when not hot. Kale slaw also very good with nice but edible slices of purple cabbage. I’m very impressed!

This place is a vibe, chicken is delicious! Murals and interior etc are fun and colorful. I ordered tenders and fries and a side of mac and cheese. I got medium which i like spicy so I think I would go up to hot level next time. I had some members of my group get no spice and it’s a good chicken tender without spice so adding the heat levels adds so much more. I like that they give you enough of the Dave sauce because it was yummy and I feel like other places usually don’t give you a lot of sauce. Small menu but that’s good because it’s done right. There was definitely a steady stream of customers but orders were coming out fast and hot. Will be back for sure

It was our first visit at Dave’s Hot Chicken in Batavia, Illinois on Sunday and what an experience! Before you make your choice in one of their menu items you decide the heat level of your fried chicken. Regular, Hot, Extra Hot, Reaper etc…
I chose the reaper and how fun they have you sign their waiver before you receive your caliente fried chicken.
Gerald ordered the Two Tenders (hot) on two slices of white bread with cheese fries, 3 slices of pickle with Dave’s sauce. I ordered the 1 Slider (Reaper) with Cheese Fries 1 Tender (Extra Hot)on one slice of white bread {Slider: kale slaw melted cheese crunchy slices of pickles and fried chicken} with Dave’s sauce.
Despite the pain on my tongue I was still able to appreciate the flavor of the chicken. It was crunchy, soft, and juicy. The kale slaw and Dave’s sauce were a great addition along with their cold crunchy slices of pickles.
The staff were kind, patient (when it came to me deciding what heat level I wanted ) friendly, and quick in preparing our food.
Thank you to the cooks and staff of Dave’s Hot Chicken this experience was memorable to the artwork, great customer service ⭐️ and delicious meal ️ my tummy was plumped Kirby status. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
