TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We’ve been wanting to go to Dave’s Hot Chicken for a hot minute 😉 While it was a bit off a drive it was totally worth it. The chicken honey teriyaki bites were so good. And Juan was so nice and helpful taking our order. There’s 7 levels of spice so there’s a level for everyone. The combos are also a great deal.

They gotta do something about the drive through man. People can’t wait an hour at a drive through of a fast food. It’s common sense when someone tries to place a large order, direct them to do so inside or place an online order. Yesterday we’ve waited a whole hour inside the car waiting for the damn fool in front of us to grab over 10 bags of food through the drive through window. Today same situation, but got the chance to back up. The food is great so I hope the management sees the review and does something about it.

Ok so first time here -walked in -not busy ordered the meal which consisted of two chicken sliders (hot) and fries- seems they added the fries that they had already sitting and while the chicken was frying the fries got soft and cold! The pickle juice under the fries did not help either. If I’m dining in the fries needed to be hot and crispy not soft and cold! For me the heat level for the HOT is good but the flavor was just not there! It just tasted like chicken with heat- no other flavors came through. Does it makes sense or are my taste buds bugging ? Will probably go and re-try one day!

First time trying Dave’s hot chicken, was sooo good, we ordered on Uber Eats and it was delicious, seasoning on the chicken is unmatched, I ordered extra hot and babyyyy it was extra hot, the 1 slider with 1 tender was enough for two meals for me. My fiancé ordered the two tenders mild and said they were really good, the fries and Mac and cheese were point really good and crispy crunchy not soggy. Overall 10/10 better than cfa or canes. It is a bit pricy but for me two meals each is worth it.

Chicken was cooked perfectly and tenders were juicy. Mini sliders were a little sloppy but good size for kids. Fries were good too.
