TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Best Shakes & Exceptional Customer Service Recovery!
My experience here proves that great businesses don’t just avoid mistakes—they master the recovery. And let me tell you, their commitment to service is as incredible as their shakes are delicious!
We had a comedy of errors with our drive-thru order (Algonquin location): a long wait, a mix-up with the flavors (it turns out the chocolate syrup ran out!), and a general oversight.
These shakes are a premium product, and while the quality is unmatched, when an order of just 4 shakes runs $41, the expectation for flawless execution is naturally very high.
We had to drive back & the team saw 4 large vanilla shakes instead of 2 large chocolate shakes & 2 large chocolate shakes with M&Ms, a simple order.
What happened next was amazing: Simon jumped into action. He realized the complexity of the mistake and immediately worked to fix it.
It took 3 team members to troubleshoot & repair the machine just to make our order, ensuring we got exactly what we asked for.
Simon promised a refund. While I initially worried because it wasn’t instantly reflected, I am happy to report Fernando, the manager I talked to, took the time to review the transaction details this morning & confirmed the refund was processed that very same night, exactly as promised.
They truly stand behind their word, and I greatly appreciate Fernando’s thoroughness & commitment to confirming everything was handled correctly. They truly stand behind their word.
The team was courteous, efficient & turned a frustrating moment into a stellar display of customer care.
The shakes are truly the best—& they come with an outstanding team dedicated to your satisfaction. Highly, highly recommend!!

I visited a few weeks ago and absolutely loved the flavor of the chicken and staff! Carlos was incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable on what to recommend for our first time! My cousin loved the lucky charm milkshake and said it was delicious! TASTY fries that are well seasoned! So hi would recommend and will hopefully be back when I’m in town.(:

Well if you like chicken and you like spicy hot chicken then this is the place for you!! I like spicy chicken but im not a huge fan of burn your britches hot. So the medium spice level is a great balance of spice and flavor for me! The seasoned french fries are delicious! All in all it’s a great place to enjoy!

We gave our order through the drive thru. Waited 30 minutes in line for the guy at the cashier to say he didn’t actually punch our order in. Mind you we’ve been fasting all day. We did expect some sort of compensation for our order. He gave us $3 dollar discount. Total wait time was 50 minutes. Definitely not worth waiting in the drive through for that long.

Staff here is very nice. Prices are very reasonable. Two tenders do not sound like much, but their tenders are HUGE! Staff warned me, about the Carolina Reaper. I signed the waiver anyway. I got two, 1 hot, 1 very hot, and a 3rd CR. You can tell from the pictures that it is hot. It’s off the charts hot! No one should try it. There’s no reason to, because it ruins the chicken flavor. I will also it burns “going in” and burns “going out!” I could not finish it. The other 2 were fantastic. Even if you don’t like hot chicken, they have no spice and medium. I’d definitely try it again, just not The Reaper. The Mac and cheese was excellent. I wish the fries weren’t crinkle cut frozen.

Dave’s is properly good. I’ve been through the drive through several times but went in for the first time today. The service and atmosphere were top notch. It’s also really refreshing that they have multiple on-brand non-meat options.

Absolutely rediculous. Just sat in the drive thru for over 1 hour before getting our food. Absolute disaster class restaurant. We were not even 4th in line when we got there. No apolgies & food was cold because the associate held our order in back for at least 10-15 minutes before realizing it was for us. Whether you like the food or not this was the worst display of customer fulfillment and satisfaction I have ever seen in my life. There was/is not enough room to step out of line if we decided we did not want to wait the egrogious 1hr + for our food in the drive thru either. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. If I could rate it negative stars I would.
