TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I’ve tried medium, hot, and reaper so far. I have to say flavor wise..its some of the best chicken I’ve ever had..and I love chicken tenders! Nice staff, and a clean place to eat. Will definitely be back for more. Thank you for keeping the balance of flavor and heat!

I pulled up to the window. I got my food. The staff was very friendly and courteous. As I’m driving home, the smell fills my car and makes my mouth water. I ordered an extra tender just for the ride home. I bit into that tender, and the juice ran down my chin and the flavor of the breading was amazing. Best experience ever, thanks guys. I love you.

Fantastic dining experience. Went there on behalf of some tictok reviews and they were spot on. Watch out for the heat level. The hot is basically the last option that has flavor after that its just burn. Great portion sizes. I would have been happier paying less and getting a little less but quality and staff were excellent. The dining area was spacious clean and well lit. I highly recommend

First time and it was great! Berny S did a great job explaining the different options and was very hospitable and friendly. I can’t handle spicy, but they have a non-spicy chicken sandwich option that I had. I did try a little bit of chicken at one level up above not spicy and could probably handle that one. Can’t wait to come in again the next time I’m in town!

2/2/26 update. The manager Dawn contacted me today as promised. She couldn’t find the double charge but reached out to their vendor who did and said they refunded. (Can take 5-7 days to refund).
I went in yesterday and my husband scanned his debit card. The system froze. They told us they would have to help us on a different register. I told them I was nervous that when it unfroze it would still charge my card. The man assured me the system was froze and it wouldn’t. I didn’t believe him. He helped us on the other register then I saw him go back to the other register and throw a receipt away. When we walked out I checked my account and sure enough, just as I thought, we had 2 charges. I went back in and the man swore he canceled it and it dint charge twice. I asked to see the receipt he threw away and he couldn’t provide it. I asked many times for it and he wouldn’t show it to me. He reprinted a receipt instead that showed nothing – no order- nothing. He refused to help me and acted like I was stupid so I asked for the manager info. I called as soon as I left the store and the manager wasn’t in. She told me to wait until the next day (today) and that the charge shouldn’t be on there. Well sure enough it’s no longer pending and both are pulled from my account. Now I have to waste gas and time and go back and try to get refunded. I’ll never eat at a Dave’s again.
