TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food is amazing. This is my go to place. But I had a terrible customer service experience. And they never made it right. I’ll delete this review if they do.
Spent $70 on this order. Asked for extra sauce. Then on pick up there were only two packets. We asked an employee to add more packets to the bag (we assumed is was actually more than ONE)… well it was, actually ONE.
So we called, to see if they could drop off sauce or give us credit to make it right and they didn’t. So, we’re driving back to the shop for more sauce. For a $70 order you’d assume they double check that.
You go to chick Fla – A…for the sauce
You go to Dave’s Hot Chicken… for the sauce.
Maybe we’ll start going to Chick Fla next door for the service now.

Stopped in for the first time and was impressed. The chicken tenders are huge and cooked just right — crunchy on the outside, juicy inside. I went with medium to play it safe and it had good flavor with a nice kick. Tried one in hot and it had me sweating a bit, but still tasty.
The slider was great with the slaw, pickles, and sauce, and the fries were solid too. Service was quick and friendly, and the place was clean. Overall, good food and a fun spot if you’re in the mood for spicy chicken.

Have been wanting to try eating here. Was in town visiting and went there for lunch. Pleasant staff took our order. After a short wait we received our order. Was hot and fresh. Very tasty food well prepared. Got our order hot seasoning wand was spicy but not outrageous. Will be going back again in my area.

Tried extra hot sliders with fries. I really like the spice level. Fries are different from regular fries we get outside. Somewhat similar to cajun fries but better than that. Pickle is e for taste. We order heavy loaded fries on the other day and heavy loaded chicken bites as well. Heavy loaded will be really heavy. Taste is good but my choice would be sliders for repeated visits. Price is reasonable

I came in to Dave’s hot chicken yesterday around 6:30pm. I ordered 2 chicken sliders and 18 nugget flight with fries. My total was $37. I didn’t even receive my fries. It was so much hot honey sauce in a box and it spilled everywhere. I drove all the way home before I noticed. I had to drive 30 mins back. I get there and ask them to remake my food because it was sauce EVERYWHERE! The manager Adam said “I do this shit all the time if you would’ve never had titled the box it wouldn’t have spilled” he was huffing and puffing when I asked for a refund because he didn’t want to remake the food just switch boxes. He wasn’t helpful at all. He finally gave me the refund ! he threw the receipt on the table. He was very rude and nasty too me. When I first came in the gentleman who took my order was nice we had conversation and I tipped him. I will never return to this restaurant! Very unprofessional when I’m spending my money !

Chicken was very temperature HOT! It’s in the name so that’s expected. You can also choose your spice level. I had Mild and it was good but I’d probably go medium next time.

It’s a beautiful brand new restaurant that just opened a while ago! Hot sliders with fries is crispy, tasty, and spicy, and chocolate M&M milkshake is tasty! I love the modern design on this restaurant, even the wall art!

My boyfriend and I visited for the first time ever yesterday and we had a great experience! First, I have to talk about how wonderful the staff was! Very young staff, but they were beyond professional and courteous. We told them it was our first time there and they jumped right in to explain things and help us order! I was very impressed. Second, the food was delicious! Probably the best fast food chicken I’ve had so far. I was a little taken aback by the price at first, but honestly I do feel it was worth the money in the end. We tried the loaded fries as well, they were great but I think they needed salt or something. Overall, I loved my experience and will definitely come back!

Excellent service & great staff I got the mozzarella stick in mild and it was kinda salty and when I asked to exchange for plain they had no problem doing it for me and didn’t give me any attitude and were so kind! This is what I call excellent customer service and they were so busy but still managed to be so polite and kind.
