TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food: Left a bad aftertaste in my mouth the rest of the day. Include a drink when ordering a meal. Those sauce packs were impossible to open.
Service: Slow, needs more help.
Atmosphere: Dirty, greasy tables. Gnats and flies (in January). Bathroom was gross.

Best spicy chicken you can find in NE Ohio. Good amount of protein. I love the spicy options and hit the spot. The spice level has little reduced in the last year. The customer service is good, place looks cool, not fancy. Food was made in less than 10 mins and was perfect temperature to eat.

Was so excited to try this place. It was not clean, it smelled like urine and Marijuana in the restaurant. We waited at least 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches and fries. The food was cold, not made properly (how ordered on receipt) and the milkshake was a weird liquid consistency that we threw out and couldn’t even finish. Will never eat hear again. Avoid at all cost!!

I’ve been to many Dave’s in my life but I could tell you without a doubt this is the best one I have been to. Randomly stopped here on a drive to Akron and I was blown away. The food was so perfectly seasoned and the sauce was somehow better than ever before! On top of that the workers were all super nice and the store was very clean and organized. I wish this was my local Dave’s because it really was just that amazing!

Horrible staff at this location. There was not a single person in the kitchen for 10 mins after the girl came up to take my order. Gradually with in the next 10-15 mins 3 men showed up in the kitchen. Still got the Wrong order. Ordered 3 meals. One was missing fries. Also , was supposed to be a slider. Not tenders. Went back in to get it switched. Nbd. The girl at the counter told me they couldn’t fix it and it would cost more. The meal I ordered was 2.50 less. ♀️. Finally after I went back and forth with her she got me the fries it was supposed to come with and some Cole slaw and a bun to make my own sandwich. It didn’t seem like it would be a big deal to just throw the tender on a bun and put some fries in the box. But I wasn’t stoned out of my mind like the kitchen staff. Also cash only. Very terrible experience. This is our favorite place to stop when we are out in this area. Never ever again. 1/18 7:30 pm.

.I ordered a #3 ..and a top loaded fry, and a strawberries and cream drink…I received a meal where the sandwich wasn’t even put together.. missing toppings ..as well as not I receiving my loaded fry. ..as well as the drink..the machine was down…i spent $30.00 on 1 meal ..which wasnt even right….mind u it was only 12:00 pm, 1 hr after thay open…and of course you can’t talk to anyone once u leave….

This was my first time eating at Dave’s, and unfortunately the customer service was very disappointing. I was standing in line and was told to order at the kiosk. When I mentioned that I had never been there before, the employee at the counter just shrugged her shoulders and told me to use the kiosk anyway, without offering any help. As a first-time customer, I would have appreciated a little guidance. Because of this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning. It’s just disappointing because it feels like no one will even care about the way customers are treated.

If I had one negative thing it was that there isn’t enough space. They’re too busy for their small location, but the food was worth it. The chicken is better than any other fast food places I’ve been to. The people who worked there were very nice

I like Dave’s but this location is awful. My burger was cold and the tender inside was rock hard and dry. Sad that freshness is a bare minimum we have for food nowadays.
I informed the girl about this at the register and after giving me looks and whispering amongst themselves they decided to remake it. Waited 10 mins for them to remake it and it was much better.

Pretty cool joint with pretty tasty food. Reminded me of raising canes with a better selection. The staff wasn’t very personable however. They definitely could have up sold me to try more of they offered a smile or even mentioned the other food. It needed some cleaning in the dining room area. But definitely worth a try.
