TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

OMG it is DELICIOUS!!! The chicken is CRUNCHY outside and JUICY TENDER inside!!! I didn’t get pickles, but this slaw is HEAVEN. Bun is perfectly soft and wraps around the slider so no tasty goodness from escaping. I am so glad I walked up in here today!!
Sauce? GOOD.
Fries? GOOD.
STAFF? So friendly and checking in on everyone the whole time I’ve been here! Jasmine is a queen! The to go orders are getting the attention I wish every establishment would give and are going to the right folks.
The Chefs in the back are on it and made the best chicken slider I’ve enjoyed in a long time if not ever.
Will I return? I’m sorry. I gotta break up with Chick-fil-A. This is my new Chick, lol.

My daughter considers herself as a food critic/explorer…and with this suggestion, it did not disappoint. The meal was amazing; nice fresh, hot juicy, tender yet crunchy slider sandwich. The kale slaw and pickles was a nice heat (medium)balance to the meal, followed by the seasoned, fresh fries dipped in the Dave’s sauce. I’m not always on the area, but when I am, I definitely coming back. Great place just to sit down,grab a bite with friends, family or by yourself. Great variety of music to just relax and eat to. 10/10 would recommend.

The customer service today was 5+ stars. There was one young lady that handled everything on the front end. Her service was 5+ stars. We tried the Cauliflower bites and it was well seasoned and well prepared. Dave’s fries are always on point and this time we tried their cheese sauce. If some of the seasoning could lace those fries that would be great…jus’ sayin. We tried the Hi-C slush and and it was too sweet but welcoming if you ordered above mild seasoning. The Dave’s sauce is great as a buffer for the heat from the elevated spice levels.

Their chicken is always cooked well and I really appreciate that their tenders are large. Two are sufficient for a meal for me! Dave’s sauce is my favorite dipping sauce—get extra if you get the tender meal!

12 Stars ⭐️ I truly had and amazing experience. Super Polite. Ms. Erica”s Team were vibrant, in tuned, willing and honest. They moved with a sense of urgency. I left my purse behind in the restroom. It was delivered back to my table with everything still in tact. If you are ever in town please do not hesitate to visit. Food is fresh, hot and delicious . Way to go Team keep up the wonderful job.

It’s one of few places our whole family enjoys. The chicken is good, and the spice options are nice for those who like a bit of heat. The staff has always been super helpful every time we’ve been. Weekends are busy, so be prepared for a significant wait for your food, more so if you have a large order.

We were a little skeptical walking in because it was almost 1:00 on a weekday and no one was in the restaurant. We decided to take our chances and are glad we did. The food was very good! Hot means hot!! The decor and overall vibe is very cool. It took a while to get our food, but it was fresh and made to order. We did go back to the counter because we needed plasticware and had to wait about 5 minutes at the counter for someone to come out of the back to address us after we got our food. But otherwise – a great experience. Would definitely eat here again.

My daughter ordered her some lunch to go, it took a while to receive the meal but it was hot and fresh with great flavor. I think she got the medium heat sandwich with tenders and fries. Customer service was awesome and the energy was chill the environment was awesome and colorful and very clean, we’d for sure return
