Grand opening at Dave’s Hot Chicken was absolutely worth the wait. The line was long you could tell the whole town showed up to see what the hype was about but honestly it just made the experience better because the energy in the place was awesome.
Once we got inside, everything was top tier. The staff was incredibly friendly and handled the crowd like total pros. The food came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the seasoning was unreal. Every bite reminded me why people rave about Dave’s.
What really stood out though was the atmosphere and leadership. The owner, Peter, is clearly doing an outstanding job. You can tell there’s pride in the place and the team reflects that. Even on a crazy grand opening day with a packed house, the service was smooth and welcoming.
If this is what they’re like on their busiest day, I can’t wait to come back when things settle down. Amazing food, amazing service, and an awesome addition to the area. Dave’s Hot Chicken absolutely delivered.

I went to the grand opening of Dave’s Hot Chicken yesterday, and it was honestly worth the wait. The line was pretty long because a lot of people showed up for opening day, but the staff handled it really well and kept everything moving smoothly.
Even after waiting in line, the energy inside was great. The team was friendly, organized, and you could tell they were excited for the opening. The restaurant was clean and had a cool atmosphere.
I ordered the hot chicken tenders with fries, and the food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The spice level was exactly what I wanted great heat but still very flavorful. Their seasoning is seriously one of the best I’ve had from any hot chicken place.
The fries were crispy and well seasoned, and the sauce paired perfectly with the chicken. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh.
For a grand opening with a big crowd, they did an impressive job. The quality of the food and the service made the wait totally worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back again and recommending it to friends.

I give it 3 because the line was insane a wait time of 15 min, once I order I waited like another 10 min for my food to be ready I order for take out, I check if I had everything unfortunately I was missing one of my burgers so I went back in told one of the guys and supposedly went in the kitchen and put the missing item that time I didn’t check bc my 5 month old was at home with her dad and she was crying very bad and dad couldn’t help her calm down so i had to leave and rush home, once I go home I opened the bag and notice I was missing a burger I tried calling bc the drive from ny house to Dave’s was a 10 min drive so didn’t want to waste mor elf my time I unfortunately I had to go back but this time I took my bay with me , once I got to Dave’s I requested speaking with the manager who he’s name is PETE amazing by the way very professional love it, he immediately took my recipe to recreate my order and offer me a free meal.
Know about flavor, it wasn’t the best one it was very salty and unfortunately when things are salty the flavor of the food just gets lost in it , I recommend less salt , now about spiciness that’s crazy my mouth was watering of how spicy it was but obviously you choose the level you want so it was my fault, plus that the chicken had a weird flavor to it that didn’t came from seasoning it was it natural flavor.
So I’ve tried better chicken in different locations

I have to say I was extremely excited to try daves hot chicken, after waiting a LONG time in line which I was fine with since it was opening day. The food was not impressive at all, very bland and chewy. Im almost positive it gave me food poisoning, would not recommend. The staff were decent, a lot of inexperienced people but they were friendly.
