TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Had a great experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken! From the moment we walked in, Trell at the cashier was super welcoming, friendly, and made ordering quick and easy.
Our food came out in no time thanks to the chef, Duke, and everything was fresh, hot, and seriously tasty. The chicken was perfectly cooked with great flavor and just the right amount of heat.
Overall, excellent service, fast turnaround, and delicious food — definitely a spot worth coming back to!

The service here was good. The cashiers were patient and kind. Decided to stop & eat here as I was visiting ATL. The food is cooked to order so everything was fresh & well seasoned. I enjoyed my food. I would go here again. I got the #3 in hot flavor & my partner got the loaded fries medium. Not much seating options but that’s ok.

If you are still eating basic fast food chicken, I do not know what to tell you. Dave’s is what a chicken sandwich is supposed to taste like. Crispy, juicy, and actually seasoned. The Dave’s Bites are ridiculous. And that sauce? I would put it on everything.

Tennille was an absolute ROCKSTAR! From the second we walked in, her energy was incredible — so kind, so welcoming, and genuinely excited to be there. She didn’t just take our order, she made the whole experience better. I loved how when she saw me looking at all the artwork on the walls and reading them she shared the story of how Dave’s Hot Chicken got started. It made everything feel more personal and fun instead of just grabbing food.
She was super patient, really understanding, and gave top-tier recommendations. And when she suggested putting honey on my chicken?? Game. Changer. It was SO good and I never would’ve tried it without her encouragement!
You can tell she truly cares about customers and takes pride in what she does. Give this woman a raise I’ll 100% be back! It’s very hard to find good customer service these days, especially in the food industry.

I have never wrote a review so fast or same day and I’m so happy that I can finally not say that anymore. THIS DAVES CHICKEN LOCATION NEEDS AN AWARD! idk if I chose the right late night vibe at 10pm but mannnnn everything was on point. Shoutout to Jeffrey(I suck at names so sorry if I messed it up) and the crew for the vibes. From me traveling all day and just wanting some hot food, being from NYC you guys got us beat on this one. Theres no way the food was cooked to perfection! : hot and fresh! Flavor was good and service was good. The wait was well worth it! The fries with a side of the Dave sauce? WOW ! Kale salad was going crazy on the slider. Copy my order: #4 slider (or two sliders cause I should have ordered #2 foreal) w/fries and the strawberry lemonade. Mannnnnnn!!! I just can’t believe it. I’m tight I can’t have another bite. Whoever the crew was tonight mannnnn that don’t make no sense. EXCELLENT KEEP IT UP. Energy don’t lie and it was all in that food.

This place is just as good as you see in the videos online. Don’t be afraid to experiment with combining the chicken with the pickles, honey, and Dave’s sauce, I have never taken a bite of Dave’s chicken and not thought that it was a 10 out of 10 meal. It is 100 percent worth the price.

I ordered a REGULAR TOP-LOADED SPICY BUFFALO MAC and a 2 piece chicken sandwich meal from the Sandy Spring, Ga location, which is 30 minutes away from my house. Upon receiving my plate, I noticed it was missing buffalo, ranch, and mac and cheese on the top loaded fries. The chicken sandwich was missing coleslaw.
I spoke to employee A about this, she informed me they were out of Mac but had no reasoning regarding the other items missing and that they’re closing for the night so they’re unable to remake my order. Upon asking for a refund employee A informed me only Employee B knew how to refund orders. I waited for an additional 5 minutes for Employee B to arrive to the register but she failed to find a solution because she didn’t know how to refund orders made through the Dave’s App. Instead she requested I come tomorrow when the manager would be in. However, as stated previously I live 30 minutes away and would be unable to make that commute. The only solution being to drive back 30 minutes just so I can get a refund is not a reasonable solution for their wrongdoing which I already wasted plenty of time and money on. This is beyond inconvenient this is a waste of time, money and gas!
