TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Nice atmosphere, calm and great music selection. Seating booths inside and tables outside. Ordered the 10bitrs with cheese fries…pretty good ND fresh! Cheese fries were OK but it is a $1.50 upcharge.
Customer service WAS THE BEST greeted me as I waked in the door, asked if it was my first time(it was) offered me a sample of kale salad to try in case I wanted to purchase which was nice. .prices are reasonable. Looking to spend $15 per meal.
There is NO KIDS MENU but items for kids to enjoy . Including slushy and ice cream machines.

Ordered delivery and the fact that the top of the box says with fries yet no fries were in sight made me very sad. And when I reported it they said I couldn’t get any money back. If I had received what I paid for then I’m sure this review would be very different because I’ve never been disappointed by them before. Funds are already low, work was long and this was suppose to be my first meal all day. I’m ranting now but all in all I’m very upset because the fries make all the difference. $20 for 10 chicken bites n coleslaw AND NO PICKLES OR FRIES if yall hate me just say that

Wonderful experience at Dave’s today. This location combines efficient and friendly service with delicious food. The perfect place to grab a bite to eat for lunch on your break. A special thank you to Ms.D who was extremely helpful with menu knowledge. Ms. D is able to remain calm in stressful/busy times and still deliver quality customer service while juggling the register and the pickup window. Very impressed with my experience today.

This was my first time coming here to Dave’s, Ms.D made my experience wonderful. She was very sweet, professional, pleasant and helpful. She asked all the questions and provided gray options. Kema was extremely – awesome – super- and on it. The franchise has just opened for business for the day and she was met with 5 customers and she smiled, welcomed us in, took our orders and made a us all feel welcomed. This is my 3rd interaction with her here and she is always pleasant! And it’s clean in here as well.

Nice place to grab a quick bite. It was a tiny bit pricey in my opinion. 4 people ate for $85. We did takeout and ordered waters, they gave us tiny clear cups with no lids. So in order to get a larger glass of tap water we had to pay for a regular fountain drink. Would have happily paid for the cups but thought it was crazy to charge for a fountain drink. It was our first time dining there. We like spicy but the medium was pretty spicy. My daughter got a milkshake and half of the cup (no joke) was full of M&Ms. Friendly staff, ample parking. We tried it and was different but wouldn’t go out of our way to go back.

FANTASTIC . Good food. I had the #4 medium heat. Good taste. Chicken crispy but not overdone. How about everyone greeted me with a smile and shared their name, as they were doing their best to share a great experience. Clean counters, bright, hip. It felt like a 2025 version of the show Cheers – “Everyone knows your name and their always glad you came” – My first and only 5 star x 3 review Congratulations ❤️
