TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Right now, as I sit in Dave’s Hot Chicken in Glen Burnie, I’m almost done eating- and right now the back of my eyeballs are vibrating, my nose is running, the top of my head is sweating and I’m SO HAPPY!
Yes, hot means hot. . Thank God for pickles and free refills for soda.
I walked in, having never been here before – never had Dave’s. The young lady behind the counter was not much help, but I figured out what I wanted. They had the food done fast and I got started.
Hotness did not undue the depth of the seasoning and the taste of the chicken. It was the kind of hot that hurts, but that you can’t stop! You have to keep going. I love that feeling with food.
The fries were delicious- just right crispy and the Dave’s sauce was tasty and unique enough that you noticed.
I got a shake to balance everything out and it was good. Soft-serve basically with a slight mocha flavor.
Parking spaces here are tight so you will want to get away from the front spots and save yourself a door ding.
Overall it’s recommended by this spicy food lover.

The place is clean and has an upbeat vibe to it! The counter service was excellent! Since it was my first time at a Dave’s, Katherine explained the menu etc. She was very professional, polite and knowledgeable about what’s on the menu!
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I had the hot tenders there’s two more levels of hot above that. The tenders are extra large and moist! I don’t know about others but let me tell you my mouth was burning. I usually can take hot food, but my tongue was scorching, they made my nose run, and I sneezed several times. I suggest using the pure honey as a dripping sauce. I thought the hot tenders with the sweet honey tasted delicious!!!
Overall a great dinner experience!

My bf and I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally stopped by a few nights ago. We weren’t even sure it was open because it was so empty.
We walked in and were greeted by the friendliest guy at the register. The place was spotless with the neatest ambiance/ decor.
We both got the meal with the slider and chicken tender. Those chicken tenders were GIGANTIC. I ended up eating the slider, which was the size of a full size sandwich and fries and took the tender (on toast) home for later. The fries were so crunchy and the chicken had great flavor. I got the extra hot which wasn’t too spicy. My bf got regular hot. We both enjoyed it and will be back. They also gave lots of pickes and Dave’s sauce which was also super yummy.

This was the first Dave’s Hot Chicken location I tried. DHC is my #1 spicy chicken sandwich spot. I’ve been to about 3 and their location and they are very consistent. I get the same great tasting sandwich every time at every location. The sandwiches are always coated well with seasoning regardless of the spice level you choose. I love how they batter and fry their chicken. The seasoned fries are top-tier, especially when you top them off with nacho cheese. The staff at this location is always friendly and very fast at getting your order in and out to you. Definitely give this place a try for one of the best and most consistent spicy chicken sandwiches. Chesapeake VA location. We have been here before and I see the same issue where there is a ton of cooks in the kitchen and one person doing the cash, customer service, and running food. Totally not fair for her but she ran circles around everyone else. The first time we went the food was perfect and last night my son got mild and I got light mild (like I did the first time) but some idiot in the kitchen decided to put scorching hot on both instead. If you get take out please check your order before you leave or you’ll be screwed over like we were. I contacted management and their pathetic response was

First off I felt right at home with the graffiti art when I walk through the doors. Was greeted nicely an asked if it was my first time, which it was. I got the medium heat Slider and fries which was also fairly cheap. I Was given a buzzer an a receipt. An the food came out very quickly. Let me tell you when I tried my first bite which was the fries…. My eyes litttt uppppp!!!! An then the sauce!!!!! They also have pure honey so I got that to put on my sandwich an it was amazzzingggg!! You won’t want to put it down!!!!! Definitely better than chick fil a!!! Will definitely be back again soon!!!

This place makes some wild delicious chicken. I had the number two, which is the two chicken sliders with the side of fries. I want to warn you the hotter sauces are very hot so I would recommend staying with something on the lower side. Very delicious though and cooked nicely. Prices are a little higher than the average place to get a chicken sandwich, However, this is an incredible better value I was very happy with my meal selection. I recommend calling a head if ordering lunch because this place gets busy!!!

My food was hot and fresh! I ordered the hot flavored chicken and it tasted more like mild. It wasn’t an issue for me but next time I will order the extra hot since I like the spice. I love that I received a good amount of fries for the size I actually expected. Their fries were really hot and seasoned. They were very busy with the line even leading out the door but the staff seem like they were true to this and not new to this. They handled the large crowds like champs. It didn’t take me long to get my order. Good food & good customer service is a job well done.

The Glen Burnie location is heavy on customer satisfaction. I visited there and the young lady who took my order was knowledgeable and gave amazing customer service. The food was great and I enjoyed so much I returned 5 days later and received great service from another employee. This is the only location I will patronize. Great work Dave’s crew!
