TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave’s Hot Chicken is the best because it has a flavor that stands out from other chicken places. The chicken is always crispy on the outside and really juicy on the inside, which makes every bite satisfying. One of the best things about it is the different spice levels, so you can choose anything from mild to extremely hot depending on what you like. The seasoning and sauce add a lot of flavor, and the chicken is usually served on soft bread with pickles that make it taste even better. Overall, Dave’s Hot Chicken is so good because it combines great texture, strong flavor, and customizable spice, making it a place people keep wanting to go back to.

Dave’s Hot Chicken is becoming one of my favorite chains. Their cauliflower “chicken” is incredible. Really crispy, crunchy, and delicious. I love that they have the vegetarian options, definitely keeps me coming back. The only reason this location didn’t get the full 5 stars is because their “Extremely Spicy” spice level was pretty mild. Not sure if something got mixed up in the kitchen, but the location in Houston really knocks the spice out of the park. It was still really good, but I found myself reaching for more hot sauce.

Trying Dave’s Hot Chicken for the 1st time… it was pretty tasty. It was a bit hectic during pick up but the employees were calm and helpful in accommodating people and their questions. Once I received my food I was also given plenty of sauces.
The food was prepared well. My guys loved the food. They said The chicken tasted very good. It was tender and delicious.
I had a small issue and I notified the establishment and they were responsive and apologized.

Dave’s Hot Chicken is hands down one of the best spots in Willow Grove when you’re craving something crispy and spicy. The chicken is always juicy with the perfect crunch, and the heat levels actually bring real flavor, not just burn. The sliders, fries, and mac & cheese never miss, and the service is quick and friendly. Definitely a go-to when I want something satisfying with a kick.

Shoutout to Tay, for she gave me quite the experience. She was very friendly, very full of life and the food was quite delicious. I got the fallout meal but I have eaten here quite a few times before. I love the quality of the food. It just brings a smile to my face every time The fallout. out meal is pretty cool. It comes with a stimp pack from the games alongside with a cool looking box, you could keep as a collectible. Overall, my experience was a 7/6.

I keep reading about Dave’s Hot Chicken. Apparently it’s one of the fastest growing chain restaurants. These days, in the Philly area, there seems to be a trendy “hot chicken” place opening every week, but Dave’s claims to be real Nashville style, so I wanted to give it a try. I’m happy I did.
I ordered the slider meal at level 3 hotness. I should’ve gone for level 4 or 5. It was barely hot at all. But still, it had that authentic Nashville hot flavor, just not enough heat. It had that oil baste that defines Nashville hot chicken. It wasn’t as red in color as what I’ve had in Nashville, but that’s okay.
My criticism is that the chicken was a little dry. Not juicy. But the crust was crisp and well seasoned. I like the pickle and slaw that comes on the sandwich and the crinkle cut fries were beautifully seasoned. They give you a little jar of a sweet/spicy mayo sauce, which was better than what most places serve as special sauce. There were a few extra pickles on the side, they were crisp and briney.
Bottom line: Dave’s is still fast food, it didn’t taste like the incredible juicy home style chicken you can get almost everywhere in Tennessee, but it’s much better than most of the other chicken places in the Philly ‘burbs, and definitely outperforms all the other chicken chain restaurants.

I stopped by Dave’s Hot Chicken in Willow Grove and honestly had such a good experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful — they made sure we knew what we were ordering spice-wise (shoutout to Shane and Reagan about the Reaper spice warning, lifesaver). Everyone working there just had great energy and made us feel welcome(Shout out Reagan,Shane,Bri and Cass). The food was so good — like, we’re already talking about coming back next week. Definitely recommending it to everyone I know.

My 8 year old son asked if we could take the drive (25 mins) to get daves hot chicken for his birthday dinner. We were NOT dissapointed. Every single one of us ate all our food and were full. The young man working at the front was a serious gem. The food was hot and delicious. It was reasonably priced and puts any other fast food chicken place to shame! No bland boring salt and pepper chicken here. You want flavor you get it. The 2 slider meal with fries was enough for 2 people with a smaller appetite to share and be full! We will be back! The worker mentioned they may look into opening a location in Langhorne/levittown area and I truly hope they do!

I had an awesome experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken thanks to James. From the moment I walked in, he took care of me. He checked up on me multiple times, made sure everything was fresh, and treated me with respect. You can tell he actually cares about the customers. Super cool guy, chill vibe, and phenomenal service overall.
James honestly made the whole visit way better — definitely one of the best worker there. I’ll be coming back because of him. Highly recommend! Give my man a huge pay raise
