TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A.
In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First time coming in and had a great experience. Restaurant was clean & tidy. Staff was very friendly & nice. All chicken is made to order so it came out quick, hot, & fresh. Chicken was not oily and like traditional deep fried. Light batter that was more of a spice rub coating. Pieces were huge so serving sizes were big and definitely filling. Overall very impressed with the food, service, and overall experience!

Dave’s Hot Chicken delivers bold, Nashville-style heat with juicy, crispy chicken that lives up to the hype.
The spice levels range from mild to face-melting, so there’s something for everyone.
Portions are generous, especially the sliders and tenders, making it great value.
Expect long lines at peak hours—but the flavor payoff is worth the wait.
The service from max and his team is awesome.

This is one of the best ‘fast food’ places I’ve ever been. That’s if you can even call it a fast food place. I have been here so many times and it never gets worse. I have had so many good memories going here, and I can’t wait to make more.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken!
I stopped by Dave’s Hot Chicken and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The menu had plenty of options, which made it easy to pick exactly what I was in the mood for. The chicken itself was the highlight—perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in getting it right.
Overall, a solid spot for flavorful, juicy chicken with choices for every heat level. I’ll definitely be back.

Ok so I went here for the very first time last week. I walked in and instantly like the vibes inside it gave kinda like modern relaxed vibes and I loved the graffiti art that was a huge draw. I had the cashier I believe his name was Carl not sure if that’s how you spell it but I assume so and he helped me with the ordering and gave really good descriptions on their spice guide and made the experience wonderful so shout out to you Carl. The food was delicious the chicken I got my top loaded fries I got mild and for the tender slider combo I did medium and the spice level was just perfect. The chicken was cooked perfectly the only thing I’d do differently and that’s just me is I like my fries just a bit more crispy but that’s just me and I was able to go home and put them in the air fryer for a few minutes and omg they were baller. I will definitely be back and I plan on bringing my BFF here next time I kidnap her because she’s been dying to try it as well.

Took my grandson to lunch at Dave’s. It was my first time, he had been there before. He ordered a slider tender combo and I ordered a 10 bite combo with mild sauce. I had wanted to order the 18 bite sampler but was told I had to take the chosen sauces on the sampler and could not chose my own. Our food was warm and tasted good. It cost me approx $32 for the two of us. It was ok.

I just had the BEST experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken. We literally walked in ONE minute before closing — and instead of rushing us or turning us away, they welcomed us with smiles and positive energy.
We ordered 10 sandwiches and fries (yes, 10 ), and they made every single one fresh without a single complaint. The food was absolutely amazing — hot, crispy, flavorful, and made perfectly.
But what really made the night unforgettable was the manager, Sean. Hands down the best manager I’ve ever dealt with. He was beyond friendly, patient, and made us feel genuinely welcomed even though we came in at closing time. He gave us everything we asked for and treated us like valued guests, not an inconvenience.
That kind of service is rare. Because of Sean and his team, I’ll be coming back all the time. If you’re thinking about going — do it. Amazing food, even better service.

We visited on November 24th, all the way from Texas. We’re hotshot drivers. The place was clean, bigger than I expected, and the guy at the counter was so friendly I should’ve known he was hiding something.
I ordered mine Extra Hot, but my husband called me a chicken… so obviously I had to ruin my own life and upgrade to the Reaper sandwich. The guy at the counter claimed he eats those “for fun.” I’m 99% sure he was lying, the other 1% is concerned for his internal organs.
The second we paid, he dropped the hammer: “I’m going to need you to sign this.” My legs immediately started shaking. Sign what? My will? A release of liability? A goodbye letter to my intestines?
I signed anyway and sat there waiting for my doom.
First couple chews, instant hiccups.
Fourth bite there were involuntary tears sliding down my face like my soul was trying to escape.
I powered through like a champ, though. Didn’t even have to blow my nose! I figured I’d get heartburn bad enough to qualify as a natural disaster. Nope. Instead, trying to sleep in the truck afterward, I realized my guts had turned into a lava lamp… just without the soothing part. I curled into the fetal position and accepted my fate.
That’s when it clicked: “Ah. That’s why the waiver.”
But honestly? Great experience. Loved it. Still wasn’t as hot as the jalapeño I grew in my yard… and I woke up the next morning like nothing ever happened.

Fresh chicken and friendly staff at this location. I got the number 3 hot. It was excellent, chicken was fresh it did take about 8 minutes to get my food which I was fine with knowing it was being made to order. The hot is definitely hot, but with Dave’s sauce and some honey. It works!! Super yummy. It is a little pricey for just 2 chicken finger and fries. Lucky I had a coupon for a free drink or it would have been over 20.00

The chicken was hot, crispy and spicy. It was nice to find a chain restaurant doing actually spicy chicken. The restaurant itself is very clean and some of the decor is hilarious. The chicken tenders were fantastic. The tenders come with pickles and a slice of white bread in Nashville hot chicken tradition. The sliders are a chicken tender on a bun with coleslaw, pickles and Dave Sauce. There are multiple spice levels to choose from. I choose hot for my tenders and sliders. It was Hottt! Not enough to regret my choice but more then enough to please any heat Seeker.
