TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

You can never go wrong with Dave’s hot chicken. The staff was so welcoming and offered to provide us recommendations. We tried their single slider and top loaded fries. Both items were well done and delicious. Also their menu is halal friendly!!

Ordered two entreees of the sliders with fries. Food was ready in about 10 minutes. Service was quick and tasty. Restaurant was clean. I highly recommend the chicken slider with no heat (just the Dave’s sauce they drizzle over) and a honey packet. Delicious! Fries were crispy and seasoned well.

Very very clean! My first time in and was not disappointed. Shanice served me and helped me understand the menu. I ended up going with medium heat (there are 7 degrees of heat) to catch my bearings and it was the perfect one for me. There was some type of dressing for the tender along with pickles and a slice of bread. The slider sandwich was delicious. Fresh bun with plenty of melted cheese encasing the pickles, greens and chicken. Chicken was very generous in portions and more than justified the price point. I will definitely come back whenever in the area. THANKS SHANICE!!!

Love the hot chicken! We got the extra hot tenders — they’re spicy but still manageable. I think the Reaper would be too much unless you’re doing it as a challenge.
The chicken pieces are pretty big and come with Dave’s sauce (kind of like Thousand Island). They’re well seasoned. I’d definitely come back again when I stop by Dedaham area.

Very clean. Great staff. Great chicken! A little on the high end for price for what you get. But it tastes great.
The mini sliders are just a single Dave bite with coleslaw and a bun. There are 4 sliders per order when u compare this to the normal slider + tender its not nearly enough chicken for your dollar. Youre essentially trading 6 pieces of chicken for coleslaw on your sliders.

I got the mild tenders and enjoyed it. The service was great. The portions were big. Chicken was crispy and juicy. Fries were well cooked and seasoned. The sauce was good. My only complaints are that it is a little pricey(~$17 for a meal and a drink) and the soda machine had flat soda.
