TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I’ve been to this place once before, but for some reason today was an exceptional experience because of a man that works there, Tyler. And I don’t know who it is that he reports to- or how much he gets paid, but it’s not enough! He was nice enough to give us great advice, some jokes and friendly service. The chicken is done well, with a perfect crispy coating that locks in the flavor. You can choose your heat level, which makes it fun whether you’re into a mild kick or a full-on fire challenge. The seasoning is bold and addictive without being overwhelming, and the sliders are packed with crunchy pickles and creamy sauce that balance the heat perfectly. Nobody seems to do that anymore, and it’s sort of special when people do! There should be more good people like this running the entire show because this guy is what makes people like me want to come back to a place like this. There’s hundreds of places to eat around here thousands of other choices to order online, and so on. When you come to a place and you get good old-fashioned great service from a knowledgeable customer rep that really knows what he’s doing. It really makes a difference!

First time visiting Woburn location and food was fresh hot and just right.I usually don’t do reviews but the young man Tyler M. was so friendly helpful and personable I felt I needed to.I wasn’t sure what to order and he explained all the heat levels and asked what I was comfortable eating and he advised me perfectly so much so I wrote it down so if he’s not there next time I know what to order. He goes out of his way to represent your company in the best way. He’s a great employee and deserves a raise I’m sure !
