Wow—every bite was delicious! A friend recommended I try a hot dog at The Dog House, and I’m glad I listened. I ordered “The Original Coney Island” and it was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned chili, and served on a fresh, soft bun. It’s clear these folks care about quality.
The service was friendly, prices were great, and the place was spotless—with a 100 health score proudly posted! You can’t beat a spot that delivers on taste and cleanliness. I’ll definitely be back to try more off the menu. Highly recommend for any hot dog lover in Knoxville!

Love the dogs and the staff is very nice. I am telling all if you love hot dogs you will love this place!!! They have assorted flavors of hot dogs and even very good chili. The staff are some of the nicest people you will meet and they are quick to get your order out.

This place is great! Tried it for lunch. It’s cheap, quick, and easy. All beef dogs, too. Pictured are the original coney and a dog with chow chow and cheese. The lunch special was $7 – two dogs, drink, chips, pickle spear, and a couple tootsie rolls. Service was great.

The ladies that work here are always kind. The place is super cheap. $7 for 2 dogs, chip, pickle, and drink. Always tastes good and the tootsie roll they put in each bag is just an extra special touch. 10/10 recommend.

I’m not going to lie, I have passed this place several times on a daily basis. I’ve seen it, but never paid much attention. But today while in Powell, my other half was looking for a place to eat and mentioned here. I was like, “sure let’s try it!” And I am glad we did. The lady is super nice and wonderful. It didn’t take long to get our order and boy was it worth it. (Which was cheap by far) the food was amazing. From the food to the customer service was beyond 5 ⭐. Will definitely have to come here again. Feeding 2 people with the daily special for only $12. Best deal around. I look forward to the next visit. And if you’ve never tried this place. Definitely someone to try. Locals and tourists alike. Come here and try it.

I’ve been here a few times and today I finally got some nachos with chili and I got a massive portion for five dollars. Customer service was great the woman behind the counter was very polite very attentive. It’s a small little place but just good food and good service and good portions. I’ll pay double the price almost and get a third of that at the movies lol but I got a huge plate and she didn’t just pour cheese and chili on top she layered it so every nacho had chili and cheese on it.
