I wanted to give a higher star rating but there were a few things that stopped me. We walked in and the cashier just looked up then back to what she was doing. I had to ask if it was open seating. There were two other tables occupied and no one else in the place. We sat ar a table close to the entrance and in the middle of all the tables. The waitress took our drink order and when she came back I ordered a basket of gizzards. (The gizzards were over fried) I am not sure how long we waited until she came to ask for our order. We both ordered burgers. Slowly people started trickling in. A few said hello as they walked past our table and a few just walked by. The food finally arrived and it looked good, that is until it wasn’t. I ordered a cheeseburger no mayo with mustard. I got no mustard and a slathering of mayonnaise. The lettuce was shredded lettuce that was clumped together and soaking wet. (The french fries were delicious. Crinkle fries fried just right!)The waitress kinda hung out in the back and didn’t stop by our table after bringing our food. By watching the other customers we knew that we had to pay at the register. As we were leaving we noticed that all the other patrons were sitting at tables against the walls and some were at the back tables. We were the only ones sitting at the tables in the middle section. Strange!

Family diner hiding inside a casino. Most the reviews are posted under the casino, so now we can post them here! The staff are genuine, down home friendly. Expect diner food, good when you’re hungry and priced to match. Excited to find something that serves breakfast closer to the country.

Today Dave’s diner decided to let me walk in at 12:45…let me order my food..finally got my food at 1:10…then I was told they were closing from 1 to 2 for a meeting…after telling me I was trying to hang out…I don’t know how fast people normally eat but Evidently 4 minutes is too long! Don’t bother stopping if you can’t eat in 4 minutes because they will ask you to pay and leave.
