Stopped in because was craving a meatball sub and heard theirs was good. This sub hit the spot!! The daves sauce on the bottom gave it an amazing tang. Fresh out of the over the bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Great atmosphere inside. Recommend the meatball sub!!

I haven’t been here in years and was so looking forward to my visit. I had the Dave’s Original #1. See pic. It was amazingly good. Just as I remember. I would highly recommend. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Although the inside is small for larger groups. Parking is limited so I would suggest parking in the garage around the corner. It’s about a 2 minute walk. See pic. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and brought my sandwich to the table. One of the best sub shops in Cleveland. Really cool pictures on the walls too.

Great customer service the young men in the picture knowledge us as soon as we walk in greeted us and welcome us to the restaurant. The subs were amazing great flavor i got the pulled pork with coleslaw and i loved it. The drink in the picture is a root beer but they have a variety of them i got the orange flavor for my self,the pictures show the restaurant and pictures of famous singers and they play the music of these singers i though that was very unique. Please go check them out. Sitting available in and outside the restaurant as well

I’d never been to Dave’s before,so while at Crocker Park, I was hungry and decided to try them out. The place looked cool but dining room was kind of dirty. I walked in and asked the guy working what was good. His recommendations were for cold sandwiches and I wanted something hot. I asked him about the “peace steak”. His response should have signaled to me it was bad but I ignored my intuition… I got a regular sized “peace steak to go”.
I thought I’d get something thrown on a grill like at Mr.Hero. When I heard the microwave open and close and turn on, I should have asked for my money back and left but I said, how bad can it be. It’s probably just microwaved beef. Oh well…
Oh how wrong I was. I got my sandwich and went and sat outside to eat. The smell I was greeted by when I unwrapped my sandwich was akin to warm cat food. The taste and texture were just as bad.
The meat wasn’t even sliced beef. I cant even describe it. It seemed like that premade pot roast you can buy and heat up. It was so chewy and grisly. The peppers and onions on the “peace steak” were raw. Not even cooked in the slightest.
To call this a cheese steak would be amazing insult to the city of Philadelphia.
I think I paid $10 for a sandwich no bigger than a Subway 6 inch and all I got was the loss of my appetite.
The only positive thing was the pickle included tasted alright. Other than that, it was pretty bad. I don’t think I’ll try anything else from Dave’s. I understand they are more known for cold sandwiches but if something is on your menu, at least try to make it decent.
P.S The guy working there was polite and probably trying to tell me something by his lack of enthusiasm for Dave’s ” peace steak”.

Delicious food and good vibes. Slightly annoyed that a good 1/3 of the menu was not available but the food was delicious and portion size was good. Solid subs for sure!

Jacob, the GM at the Crocker Park location of Dave’s Cosmic Subs, made our recent catering order so easy. We were hosting a gathering of friends and family the evening before my son’s recent wedding. Our order was not a complicated one, but involved a lot of sandwich construction! 18 platters of subs were neatly and carefully prepared and packaged for pickup without any problem. I really liked Jacob’s positive and friendly, ready-to-please personality when I came in to inquire about such a large order. The sandwiches were a hit the night of our party and we have Jacob and his staff to thank for the great service and delicious taste. Thank you!

This was a regular Ham and cheese sub from them. Bread is hard and very crunchy. Shredded cheddar cheese when asked for sliced American cheese.
Also got two regular meatball subs. Absolutely nasty! Again, bread is very hard, no marinara, dry meatballs with seams to be Italian dressing or some other oil type drizzled on the bread under the meatballs.
The pizza sub is also a joke. It is a slice of pizza cut inhalf and folded in on itself. Definitely NOT recommend . If you truly want a good sub, dont waist your money here…

Love that I can just get a sandwich at Crocker Park at Dave’s! I typically get the club, it’s always a little messy, but tastes good… so I would recommend getting some extra napkins! I also love that I can order ahead for pick up and just pop in to grab and go when I’m busy!
