We’ve been to the new Dave & Buster’s in Wilmington a few times now, and honestly, it’s been a great experience so far. Even though it’s still a brand-new location, it’s running surprisingly well and seems very organized.
Inside it’s definitely loud—almost like a casino atmosphere—but that’s part of the fun and excitement. There are plenty of games and activities to keep kids entertained, and lots to do for adults as well. The food is good, the bar is good, and the employees have all been friendly and helpful.
The only downside is that it’s almost always super busy because it’s new and popular, so be prepared for crowds and a bit of a wait at peak times. Overall though, it’s a fun addition to Wilmington and a great place for families or a night out.

We came to Dave and Busters to celebrate our sons 19th Birthday today and had a 5 star experience all around! Jason was our server and explained everything to us about the game and play menu.He was excellent all around and very personable. Dylan assisted us at the card/prize kiosk and went above and beyond with combining card points and redeeming for prizes.It was our 1st time here after moving from Long Island NY 3 1/2 years ago.This location is amazing and we will be back !!

Absolutely wonderful experience! We went on opening day, of course ABSOLUTELY PACKED! No complaints regardless due to them being properly staffed and trained wonderfully. I would like to say it was expensive, but compared to Jungle Rapids, much cheaper and the food was OUTSTANDING! Will be coming back when it isn’t opening day! Be prepared for the kids to have more games then they know what to do with!

This is a great option if you’re looking to entertain yourselves or a crowd on a rainy day. You go to D&B for a good time, not a Michelin Star meal or service. The food is okay. The service is okay. The atmosphere is chaotic and loud, which should be expected. There are plenty of games without long lines. The game selection is good and the game prices are reasonable. Go for the whole experience, keep your expectations reasonable and you won’t be disappointed.

Justin and Joey are AWESOME!! My sisters and I go to Dave and Busters literally everyday (get the Summer Unlimited!) and I only go to the bar if they are on shift! My favorite drinks to order are the Scooby Snack and the Jell-O shots. The Scooby Snack is the perfect balance of cream and pineapple. And the shots are large enough to sip!
But back to Justin and Joey!
They are both so kind and so patient. With the loud environment, it is sometimes hard to order, but they make the process less stressful. Seeing them is part of the fun of going to Dave and Busters! They have great personalities and impeccable vibes!
Also, they give great recommendation on drinks!

Leilani was my server, very upbeat very sweet very attentive. She served me and my party was six people so it was a lot going on and she got it. Our order is perfect. The first time our drinks perfectly the first time she was a whole vibe. which she be my server every time I come

I’ve probably been here about 10 times now. My food was messed up twice. The first time they accidently gave my food to someone else lol. The other time my food was kinda burnt (see img). Most of the times the food was good. Had 2 bad waitresses, forgot their names, the others were great. We had a big table and she stood on the end and nobody could hear her and she couldn’t hear us and wouldn’t come closer. She was kinda rude. It was a strange experience. None of these were major issues for me. Most of the time the food/experience was good on the restaurant side, although a little loud.
The arcade side was extremely disappointing. In fact this is prime example of everything wrong with modern arcades. It’s ALL ticket redemption/prize games, racing or throw the ball in the hole. These are all mainstream casual games with no depth or replayability. It’s really sad to see a D&B with absolutely no rhythm games. Not even DDR or Pump It Up. Until you guys get rhythm games again I will not be coming back.

We went one week after they opened and SO many games already weren’t working. We had fun in the arcade but were definitely disappointed that so many weren’t available. Drinks were expensive and they’re light on their pours. Food took a while to come out and although it tasted great it was way over priced for the portion sizes. We ordered $12 queso for the table and it was laughable how small it was. The steak bowl was delicious but only came with 5 TINY strips of steak for $21. We decided we’ll probably go back for games sometime but have dinner and drinks elsewhere beforehand.

Let me start by saying that my waitress was extremely attentive, she was understanding, and she was patient. The service was top notch! The games were entertaining. I played like I was a big kid. The system with gaming was great with just a card. However, not all the food was good. I had the Smokehouse ribs and wings and my other half the salmon, neither of liked our meals. The Bananas Foster Pie and beef dogs in a blanket were delicious. Overall, it was an experience.

My family is a huge fan. We’ve been here twice now and each time was a great experience. If we start with games, they have a great selection of reasonably priced modern/well functioning games. If there was any issue with game, a tech was there in minutes (and we went on busy days) to fix the gave/give us a credit back if we couldn’t play the game right away. The prize room has some great selections and again, also reasonably priced. My son always walks out happy with a lot of loot that’s modern and relevant. Let’s be honest, not many kids want a Chinese finger trap or a plastic spin top these days. They have Mario, Sonic, Minecraft, Star Wars, Spider-Man, Hot Wheels, etc. They even have a Nintendo Switch which is super fun. Adults, they have stuff for you too like a wireless charging mat, a muscle massager, coffee cups and more. The staff they have there are pleasant and enjoyable to be around which again, is something of a rarity these days. The restrooms were clean and in general the whole facility is kept clean. We ate lunch their and I thought the Power Bowl was excellent and the three boys I had enjoyed the kids menu. Honestly, reasonably priced as well. We have the Summer Pass and that works out to be a great deal, worth every penny. Just keep in mind it has a weekly 2,000 maximum so make sure your kid understands that they might need to do some saving to get what they want. My family is so glad they added this to Mayfair because Jungle Rapids arcade is outdated/over priced and their prizes are not good.
