We were seated in a booth, and while our waitress came over quickly, she didn’t introduce herself just asked if we wanted something to drink. We started with waters, then ordered drinks: a glass of sparkling wine and a mango peach Bellini. The Bellini was tasty, but it was filled with a lot of ice, so I wish there was a bit less to fully enjoy the drink.
Food-wise, everything was good. We ordered the cheesy spinach dip, grilled chicken quesadillas, boneless wings in the spicy Korean flavor (delicious!), and an apple pecan salad. We also got two platters of the Big Wings & Things one BBQ and one lemon pepper and both were a hit.
The service is where things were a little mixed. Our waitress brought out part of the food, and another staff member brought the rest but had a noticeable attitude. When we politely asked for sour cream, she rudely said we needed to ask our waitress instead of just passing the request along or grabbing it. We totally understand that everyone can have a bad day, but it wasn’t a big ask and the response felt unnecessary. We didn’t get the sour cream until I was already halfway through my quesadilla (lol).
That said, we would definitely go back. My nephew had an absolute blast, which is what mattered most, and the food and atmosphere were enjoyable overall. With a little improvement in service consistency, this place would be a solid 5 stars for family celebrations.
They have happy hour specials for the adults, and what’s crazy is they have a bar in the end? Where all the video games are? So I guess you can watch your kids while you’re drinking along. Now a nice tea. The service is very slow even though there’s not a lot of people waiting. I think we timed it at 1015 minutes. Just to get a couple of drinks each time. Maybe longer, not sure why they’re moving like molasses, but we had a very good selection and tasty food and everything I’ve tried there. Pictures included was very good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, they might have some staffing problems, as the bartender had to take care of us, but also he had like 15 other tables. We were at the bar, and we also So sat down and ate twice, definitely will come back. But not during busy time, as I don’t think they can handle it during this peak times whatever they may be
Besides that the place seems okay, only thing, the prizes room where you redeem your tickets seems that have less than the one on Dolphin Mall location. I think that I’ll stay with this location better.
In the beginning, the employees were nice and cooperative with us. After playing some games, we sat down and decided to order. It took a long time for the servers to address us, and the woman waiting on our table had an attitude. We didn’t mind it too much, though — she even became nicer later on.
After eating, we decided to play pool. The same employee walked us over with the pool balls but failed to explain the process for what to do when we were finished or how payment worked. We were only told it was $14 an hour, and that was it.
When we went up to pay, we saw the total was a little over $21. My friend noticed the price and questioned it out loud. The big guy assisting us didn’t acknowledge her, so I asked, “Hey, why is the total $21?”
He looked up at us, then down at the receipt, then back up at us — very dramatically. In a choppy and rude tone, he said we had gone over the one-hour timeframe and that there was only a five-minute grace period. He also said we were supposed to bring the pool balls back to the front ourselves.
The situation escalated quickly and unnecessarily. This was our first time there, and we genuinely didn’t know how the process worked. When we explained that we hadn’t been informed, they told us it wasn’t their job to inform us and that all pool halls work the same way — which isn’t true.
I wouldn’t have minded simply paying the difference, but he was rude to my friend, to me, and to my boyfriend while we were only trying to explain that we hadn’t been told the rules. I eventually got upset and told him he was being rude and giving unnecessary attitude, and that they should just inform customers next time.
We were under the impression that someone would come to us to collect the balls or let us know when our time was up. Even a manager (or someone in charge) came over and said it was our fault and our responsibility, regardless of whether we were informed or not — and they were rude as well.
We left feeling pretty angry. All of this could have been avoided, and they seriously need better customer service training
