Dave & Buster’s was an absolute hit for our crew of 3 preteen/teen girls and 5 adults.

First, the food. I’ll admit, I went in with “arcade food expectations” and left genuinely impressed. Everything looked exactly like the pictures (a rare thing), and it tasted great. Delicious, well-presented, and way above what I expected.

The games were another win. There was a huge variety, from cool augmented reality video games to classic county-fair-style favorites like Skee-Ball, plus tons of other games that kept both kids and adults happily occupied. No one was bored, no one wanted to leave early, and that alone deserves applause.

As for prices, they felt fair, maybe a tiny bit high considering the local economy. Good service was very very slow, but polite.

Overall, this was a fun, energetic, and surprisingly tasty outing. If you’re looking for a place where kids can be kids, adults can have fun too, and everyone leaves smiling (and possibly overly competitive), Dave & Buster’s in Huntington absolutely delivers. Would 100% go again – stretchy pants and layers for physical activity recommended.

My kids have a blast every single time we come. There’s so many gaming options to choose from, and they keep all of their tickets on their cards. The sliders and guacamole dip are absolutely delicious. All of the food we ordered was great. The kids had boneless wings, and I tried one…so so so good.

We drive here from Charleston at least once a month to have some fun family time and dinner. Our family loves the dine and play option and the cantina chicken nachos are AMAZING! We always ask for one of the few booths they have available and they have always been so accommodating of that. Service has always been friendly and quick. They also have a pretty decent selection of arcade games.

My son’s birthday choice was to go to this restaurant so I thought I’d give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed despite it being a Friday evening our food was brought out quick fast and in a hurry, I recommend the sliders, those are really great. the service was great the food was excellent and everyone in our group was very happy with it all. The game room was entertaining and fun with new games and older one’s I remember from back in the day.

So many disappointing factors that I’m not sure how to list them.
Reservations(had to make 2 to accommodate 13 people)were made for a Saturday birthday celebration, over a week in advance.
Upon arrival, we are informed they DO NOT accept reservations on the weekend. So we go ahead and get “cards” so we can play games(they took our name then to be seated) again for 13 people. This was at 7pm. By 9pm, we still were never seated. A grandfather had sat down, was watching jackets, purses, etc. He wanted to order food and a coke, and was told since the hostess had not seated him, he could not order anything. (At 8pm, they brought him a beverage, no food)
At one point, the newly minted GM said they INDEED DO take reservations on the weekends, that the “hostess” had given us incorrect information, but she was actually a server that had to fill in because they were shorthanded. Still did nothing to seat us, no apology for the misinformation, nada.
Needless to say, we went to Chili’s(also at this mall), were seated in just a few minutes, and all told, spent well over $350. I would not recommend this establishment.

My husband and I came to Dave & Buster’s in Barboursville craving some good, crappy, cafeteria-style pizza and video games—this place delivered!

We were seated immediately, and our server was incredibly sweet. Our food came out fast, and everything hit the spot. My husband is a fried pickle purist, and he loved their fried pickles (chips, not spears—an important distinction to him, lol). The pretzel dogs were tasty, and the pizza absolutely satisfied our craving. For two sodas and three entrées, our total was around $45 before tip, which felt reasonable. Portions were just right.

Then, we grabbed a $20 game card—only to realize it was half-off game night! We played everything we wanted (including some surprises) and still had 15 tokens left over. The game selection was fantastic—having both The Walking Dead and Halo shooters was impressive, plus Mario Kart and Minecraft! We got way more into Minecraft than we expected.

As a HUGE DDR fan, I was thrilled to see they had Pump It Up! I’ll admit I prefer DDR (better song selection, in my opinion), but it was great to play a dance game with zero wait time. Given how rare DDR machines are these days, I’ll take what I can get!

The staff mentioned weekends get crazy busy, so if you’re a young couple looking for a fun, relaxed night out, I highly recommend going on a Tuesday or Wednesday night like we did. The tristate area needed more solid entertainment, and I’m so glad we have this spot. We’ll definitely be back!

This was a nice place when it opened. They have since gotten rid of a majority of the fun games and replaced them with lame ones, such as the “human crane.” They also raised the ticket prices of all prizes, as well as the prices for chips. The food is also very disappointing and overpriced. My only compliment is to the employees that work in the arcade area. They are always friendly and willing to help. The food service has been terrible every time, however.

Our family went for games and dinner, we had never been before. We were surprised by the vast amount of games and the food was so good! We had a group with a wide range of ages and EVERYONE had a blast! We will definitely go back.

Our first time at the Barboursville location was an absolute unacceptable experience. We were there for a grandsons BD, stood at the host stand for quite sometime before getting seated. After being seated a 20 something male tossed straws on the table as if he was irritated to be there. We ordered water, explained we were waiting in 4 more possibly 6 more and would be eating. He returned with 3 glasses of water, we said thank you and he turned with the most vile hate-filled look imaginable- never spoke just walked away. We promptly got up and went to the game area to wait for our other family members – gave the kids cards for play and left. Our other family members are elsewhere after playing. We are very polite, neat people with a guaranteed excellent tip-the young black male we encountered lost an opportunity and good money. We might be “old white” people as we have been labeled by similar types-but we are honest hardworking well paying people. We are tired of encountering resentful, angry, and unpleasant staff; these people are hurting themselves and the businesses they work for. Warning: we our based digital cards, they did not work on any game and had to get hard cards to use! Very disappointing since we, the grandparents, like to play with our grandsons on a regular basis at these types of places – we will stick with Chuckie cheese and other similar places where we get treated with respect. We will not return for food ever, not sure if we will waste our time at D&B in the future. Noted many games did not work and had not worked in a long time, digital cards do not work, lots of exclusions and rules to keep up with, very pricey for the games, no one cleaning anything. Dirty food tables and dirty gaming area-watched kids picking their noses and playing the games (nearly gagged). Wipes and sanitizer needs put out for use!!! Very crowded place with kids running around like it’s a play ground.

Went to Dave n busters for my birthday. This was on a Wednesday night not a busy weekend. Waited for a couple mins because the host wasn’t at her desk. Had multiple employees walk by until someone came and took us to our table. When we finally got our table our server didn’t seem so happy to be there or taking our order. Food was good nothing to complain about there. The game were fun. The only thing they need to really work on is their customer service.
