We stopped by Daughter’s Deli on Thursday afternoon and really enjoyed our visit. The Papa Pastrami sandwich was excellent—flavorful and generously portioned. I personally prefer a lighter sauce, so we asked for light Russian dressing, which was perfect. The portion size is great and definitely easy to share.

I also loved the side cucumber vinaigrette salad—it was fresh, light, and delicious. We tried the chicken schnitzel sandwich as well, which was crispy, flavorful, and very satisfying.

The only downside is the parking situation. There are just a couple of spots, so you’ll most likely need to find street parking. The inside is small, but they make up for it with plenty of outdoor seating. You order inside at the counter and they bring it out to you.

Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes. Honestly, you’re getting something comparable (if not better) than Langer’s, with a better location and vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

We were going to be stuck in traffic anyway so we figured we might as well take the time to get good food on Sunset Blvd, and it was worth it. They let me pay to upgrade the Vienna hot dog fries to chili cheese fries, and my wife’s pastrami was awesome, as everyone already knows.

I luckily found parking in small lot. This location is very busy.
The staff was nice.
My pastrami was really good. I didn’t like the potato salad. It was too sweet. The pickle was good.
Overall I enjoyed it. The thick slices of pastrami and bread were wonderful. However, the price was a bit much if you’re on a budget.

Had the “Papa” and the spicy schnitzel sandwich. They were very moist, tasty and did not leave you hungry. Ordered a side of macaroni salad. Location was great, you could sit outside with a decent seat to people watch from. I tried Katz’s Delicatessen in NY less than a year ago, and to me, Daughter’s Deli was a much better experience.

The BEST pastrami sandwich ever. I haven’t been to the dad’s deli, Langer’s in decades, and forgot what a good pastrami tastes like – only Langer and his daughter do it right, and on the best rye bread in town. So so so worth every penny of a sandwich. No other deli compares. Only note would be a nicer or more comfy eat-in vibe.

I am a big fan of Langer’s and will go out of my way to risk my life going to the seedy area it is located for the fantastic Jewish Deli. Only recently did I find out there is a location closer to me in WeHo owned by the granddaughter.

Normally I would have ordered the pastrami, but today was a burger kind of day for me. That’s what I got. They call it the Zane. The serving size was quite large. 1/2 lb of burger was substantial. The burger did lock a bit of juiciness and was cooked more medium.
What is definitely a stand out was the bread it sat on. That texture, that taste was superb!

I like the fact that they have free parking. WeHo corner where they are located is a hard part of town to park. I would not have bothered going if the parking was not free.

The sandwiches here are priced eye popping higher than anywhere in LA. The only reason it can is for riding on Langer’s legacy. So come prepped for the sticker price expectation lol.

The negative was the service was so slow. It was a lazy Saturday noon when I went. I must have waited maybe 20 to 30 minutes for my food. A burger and fries.

I still look forward to coming back to try the famous Pastrami Coleslaw sandwich take on the #9 at the original Langer’s .

Great Sandwich Spot. I love the pastrami sandwiches. Might be just as good if not better than Langer’s. All the negative 1 Star reviews all seem ridiculous. I actually laughed at the 1 Star that the person left because they couldn’t get the wifi for their super important zoom meeting. If it was that important stay home or use your phone for connecting.

As a big fan of Reuben sandwiches, and hearing this location is sort of a sister restaurant of Langler’s and having a coworker preferring this over Langler’s, I had to finally make my, so.. everyone could have an off day, and that’s all fair and all but I have to describe how it went for me the day I went, and best I would describe is -sawlll-tee!!!- specifically with the soup and especially the chilly cheese fries. Which made it hard to eat, unfortunately I didn’t even finish my meal. The sandwiches were fine, I grabbed the sandwiches but didn’t taste like it was just off the oven(almost room temp), I didn’t care for the potato salad, they added a sweetness to it that really turned me off to it. The service was kind and helpful and very friendly. And it seems like they’re expanding, so my review won’t hurt them. And like I said, they might’ve had an off day, but it was enough for me not wanting to come again.

Amazing Papa sandwich – pastrami with a chock full of yummy coleslaw!

This was our first time trying the Matzo ball soup and we really liked it – warm light chicken broth with the fluffy Matzo ball – perfect for a windy cool spring day.
