New owners…. They can’t understand basic English to order food. It’s absolutely annoying it’s like calling into customer service and being driven mad because the communication isn’t there.
Don’t order cheese sauce for fries. It’s not cheddar. They don’t say anything about it being some type of mysterious white cheese.
Overall pissed off with this place. I won’t come back. Not to mention forgetting to make 2 hamburgers. Idk how that just gets missed.

I had a walleye sandwich, which tasted good, but was a couple of packaged fillets between 2 slices of Texas toast which was grilled on one side. Sides were on the side, so you added what you want. My bride ordered a hamburger, but got a cheeseburger. Since she hates cheese on a burger, so they brought her another plain. She added her normal toppings. She said it was the best burger that she ever had in a bar. I wish I had a picture. It was an inch thick, perfect medium rare, and super juicy. She managed to eat half of it, and took the rest back to the camper for dinner.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the Jim Edgar Panther campground. I had a spicy chicken pony shoe and my husband had the fish horseshoe- all great. It is a huge amount of food. We could have split either the pony or the regular shoe.

Bar and grill atmosphere. The burgers are exceptional and the pony/horseshoes are huge and tasty. Reasonably priced and friendly service. We will definitely go back.
