We stopped in on a Sunday morning for Brunch and I am so glad we did. The options were plentiful and everything was so good. The carving stations were really good. They had plenty of breakfast options and definitely lots of protein to add on your plate. The veggies and pasta options were also very good. The restaurant itself was very elegant with beautiful large windows which provide a great water view. The premises were beautifully landscaped and had plenty of areas of beautiful flowers and plantings. Unfortunately for us, it was a grey and rainy day but it still was beautiful. Jay, took care of all our needs and we were super pleased with great service and he was very helpful. We will definitely come back again!! We made reservations but they had plenty of room if you just walk in.

Extent Sunday brunch! I haven’t had dinner there yet. But from the great food and service at the brunch I’d bet the dinner woukd be no different. If you’re on a keto diet like myself they’re plenty of options out with the brunch. If you go home hungry it’s your own falt. Use the valet easy in and out. The attendants are fast and courteous.

The Sunday brunch here was lovely and reasonably priced. Our large group enjoyed the usual brunch items: omelette station, waffles, fruit, pasta station, a variety of seafood, chicken, salads, and desserts. The prime rib was excellent but the star of the show is the amazing views of the Ling Island Sound and well maintained grounds. Our waitress wasn’t very attentive but we had a great time nonetheless!

There’s a reason for low average review on Google maps for this place. Find someplace else to eat.
The atmosphere is great but that’s where good stuff ends. This place isn’t worth the money you spend here.
Food
Charcuterie board had too much cheese and wasn’t well balanced.
Ravioli was too sour had to leave all of it on the plate. When we told server about it, he says, desserts will be nice and sweet. (Sad)
The salad was good.
Dessert was good.
Irish cream coffee was bad.
When you pay $150 for dinner for two, this is not acceptable food quality.
The location is great but the food doesn’t stand up to the mark.

I ordered Surf and Turf and the Lobster was not cooked. They had me take the pieces of my plate to show the chef. Then they brought the pieces back and said they cooked them more. I’m not a complainer but this seemed really low class for an upscale restaurant. The girl told me she would bring out a new Lobster Tail. It blew my mind when the brought the same pieces back. I actually started to eat it and places the uncooked piece back on the plate. They cooked it with the other pieces. There was no apology or anything. I felt like they were upset that I did not want to eat very undercooked lobster. I have stayed at the hotel many times but have avoided the restaurants here. I do not recommend.

I came here for dinner while staying in the hotel with my fiance for our second annual visit. We made a reservation for Datillo and showed up for our 5:30pm seating. We were seated in in the seaside bar and grill section and not the Datullo section, which we understood given Covid probably made it hard to have servers in both areas. We wished we had the view bit again understood given the circumstances.
Our waitress Linda was great and checked on us frequently and was friendly. We ordered steamed mussels for an appetizer and then the veal and steak. The mussels were good and you got a decent amount for the price. The main entrees were a bit smaller so glad we got the appetizer before hand. The steak was a bit overcooked, well done rather than medium, but still tasty. For the price I’d expect it to be correct, but the seasoning and flavor was very good.
Overall a nice visit, I’d recommend.

Beautiful ambience, service was amazing (Sebastian) and beef was the best we’ve had in quite some time. We topped it off with coffee and desserts.
It’s not too often we have a getaway to Water’s Edge but when we do dinner at Dattilo’s is always part of the experience.

We were so very disappointed in the quality of food! Actually had to spit out the clams. The manager was very condescending and asked if he could send something to our room to make up for it after he was addressed again about his disregard for the quality of food. He never followed through. Would not recommend this restaurant for food. The bar was great.

Not fine dining. The steak I ordered was over cooked. The Salmon was over cooked Tiramasu was frozen. Apparently the Tiramasu has to be frozen and comes out in a perfect circle even though it’s “homemade”
The menu is basically the same as the Tavern in the same building.
Basically, it’s buffet / bar food they overcharge for.
The view is really beautiful. Just don’t bother eating at the Italian restaurant.

Dinner was out of this world! The food was amazingly delicious. The dessert was just as good. Our compliments to the chef! But the icing on the cake was our waiter. Big “shout out” to Sebastian! He was so friendly and super hospitable and made our visit so much more enjoyable! Thank you!
