First time here. Small place, not much seating. Decent prices. Really good chicken & sauces. Really crispy batter. One complaint is no side option other than fries, we don’t eat fries. Another is no military/veterans discount offered. The sweet tea was not very good either. Will we go back? Not sure honestly.

Dat Chicken has huge delicious chicken tenders & lots of fries in the combos. We order the 4 piece combo and share it. The drinks come in cute cups with great lids, no spilling! The ladies working there are super nice. This is my go-to for a great meal, lots of food that never disappoints me, at a great price! Highly recommend.

Wow! Very impressed with this place. I ordered a 2-piece combo and a 3-piece combo for my husband and I. I wasn’t expecting how huge the tenders were!!! My husband and I both got two meals out of our order. We tried the signature, BBQ, and sweet &tangy sauces, and all were good! Lots of fries and a piece of garlic bread. Going forward, I now know the $5 box will be enough for me, since the portions are so generous. Very happy customer and will definitely be a repeat visitor!!!!

Great addition to Joplin! Casual environment for a chicken strip meal and tea. The meal was delicious, and the sweet roll rivals Texas Roadhouse rolls. The strawberry matcha latte and brown sugar tea were good (especially for the area), but I wish they were a bit stronger. The boba was fresh and chewy.
I wish there was a tea & chicken combo, instead of having to order them separately.

So happy to have a good boba spot in joplin! We got the matcha with and without strawberry with the brown sugar boba and delighted by both. The boba is on the smaller and softer side if you prefer firm boba like me, but the flavor and over all texture was excellent. There is one four seat table and some bar seating inside so be aware if you are trying to sit with a large group, you wont fit except maybe outside. Also it would be nice to see them offer milk alternatives eventually.
EDIT: we went back to try their chicken. Solid 6/10, its fast food chicken breast with dips, its exactly what you expect. No more, but no less. Roll was soft and sweet, fries fine, no seasoning but thats what dips are for. Also they will let you add boba to your box combo instead of a soda for $3 more which we were happy about. Subtracting a star from my review however because the boba was not as good in the evening when we went for dinner compared to going in the morning. It was obviously not as fresh. you need to keep on top of the boba to make sure it hasn’t gone soft!

First time trying today! This place offers a small dine-in Area and it is SO clean! The staff was helpful and polite!
The texture and crunch of the chicken was 5/5. My party had different views on flavor, some felt the flavor was light and good, others thought it was lacking flavor. The fries are good, almost like a light battered fry, crispy on the outside, good amount of potato in the middle, everyo The dipping sauces were good, especially their signature sauce. I had a strawberry Matcha Boba that was a little sweet and “soapy” tasting. The Brown Sugar Milk Boba was really good.
Next time I would like to try the sauced Chicken.

THE ADDICTION IS REAL❤️ The owner is there working his self to death make sure we buy AND enjoy local chicken. The Boba tea is the best I’ve had. Point blank. So many types of everything it threw me off that the prices are LOW!! $5 box combo with a drink, with a drink. The chicken sizes are dang hens. I love it. Shop local.

Yummy and fresh tenders! Fruit teas are so delicious! Very affordable, too! There are a variety of choices for flavors of fruit teas and toppings. There are several dipping sauce choices for the chicken! The signature sauce and sweet & tangy sauce are the best! Waaaaayyyyy better than Cane’s!
