Great ice cream place on Front Street. And little kids will enjoy all the taffy and candies. As you enter the store, there is the caramel popcorn area that simply wants you to stop and get some. So good. We got their huckleberry ice cream and Mauiaui (mango guava sorbet). The taste was awesome and mouthwatering till the last lick!!

What a fun store to visit. As a lover of taffy, I was thrilled with all of the selections. My handpicked pieces were OK but the pre-bagged pieces were hard as a rock! I’m glad I kept it rather than give as a gift as I had intended. For the price you pay, it should be luscious!

I feel like I had to leave a review because of all of the little shops that we went into while in Leavenworth (12/19/2025) these were easily the rudest employees we ran into. They seemed so inconvenienced by us even being in there and there was a young blonde girl that was incredibly rude and condescending to my children while ordering on the ice cream side. The other employees were just unhappy, no smiles and super short with us.
I do want to shout out the ONE sweet girl who was working, she had glasses and pig tail braids, she was literally the only friendly employee in this place. If you hate customer service this much, just please find a different job so customers can feel welcomed when they come into an establishment.

The ice cream here is very good, they use the Umpqua brand and allow you to split-scoop bowls with two flavors. We like to rotate between here and Whistlepunk depending on the seasonal flavors available at Whistlepunk. The usual line-up at Whistlepunk isn’t our favorite, however the holiday flavors there are quite good. So Das Sweet Shoppe gets our business most of the year.

This is a very cute place! It offers a large variety of candies, chocolates, cotton candy, popcorn, and ice cream! It definitely is a sweet shop! They also offer different items for purchase such as lunchboxes, games, and tiny toys for kids! It’s very colorful and the staff is very friendly!

It is unfortunate that this store closes at 8 pm on a Friday and Saturday, when it would get a ton of more business. We did come in at 7:45. Nothing was made to order so I’m unsure why the very impolite teenagers mean mugged us among ignoring us, when we even came in. There was no hi or thank you. Any acknowledgment whatsoever! It was before 8 PM when I purchased my candy. I set it up on the counter, pushed it towards her so she can ring it up easier. The young rude employee did no source of doing anything except from ringing it up. If she wanted me out that badly, she could’ve offered a bag or just bagged it or pushed it back towards me as a customer. I literally asked her if they do not carry bags and she replied “oh we do” just wow! And there were other customers in the store after us! There wasn’t a huge line, but she was directly rude! Very unprofessional. I would love to recommend this business, but if you hire People that don’t even wanna work. I did get pictures and names if the business owner really wants to acquire what happens when they aren’t there.
edit: 9/16 – I was incorrect on the employees name as I read it on a different receipt from Leavenworth. To the business owner, I have the receipt. The order number/invoice number is # 688165. Station number 3. Date was 9/05/25. Please do better.

Great place! They even had my favorite and they actually had a sugar free strawberry cheesecake flavor for my husband ! He usually has to go without! What brand do you use? He lived it! Thank you. The only downside was all through Leavenworth was no German music throughout the shops. The town has turned into just another sold out town.
