We were with our entire family, 11 of us. We were seated in basically a private room. We had the nicest, friendliest waitress you can imagine(I am embarrassed, I cannot remember her name). The menu is almost totally genuine German cuisine. If we had questions, our waitress had the answers. Our food came in timely fashion and WAS DELICIOUS!
And to top off our evening, we met Helmet, one of the owners. We visited for a little while. It was so nice.

How can one hate it?! Service was ultra-friendly and fast. We went at a slow time so that helped. Food was top -notch. Highly recommend the garlic homemade ranch!

Incredibly delicious! The smoked pork chop and roulade were amazing. Mom had the ham hock for her birthday dinner. So much amazing food and the service was tremendous, attentive and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience.

My wife and I happened to be in Jefferson City the night of our 40th anniversary and were recommended the das Steinhaus. The worst $110 I ever spent. A Wednesday evening, maybe 10 people in there. Ordered escargot for an appetizer. Salad came before appetizer. I ordered smoked pork chops which weren’t smoked. Wife had beef rouladen, which was heavily seasoned with cloves. Everything was disgusting. Probably ate 10% of the food.

Top Ten. The food is out of this world. Exclusive feeling and authentic! I had the veal and bananas flambé. I can not wait to eat here again and try another A list dinner! Lorri was my server, she knocked it out of the park. Excellent experience!

Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The food was very flavorful. They also had karaoke. That night. Sang a few songs. It was fun. The lighting was good. Not a bright light atmosphere, but I wasnt there so I could read a book. I was there to eat great food and have fun.

Had a fantastic dinner here. Our group ordered the Wiener schnitzel, pork chop, and veal, all were delicious. Then for dessert had the cherries jubilee and peach flambé, we were super impressed. Helmut came out with orange Schnapps at the end. We were all so glad we stopped here for dinner while passing through town.
