Food is decent at this restaurant, though it could be improved. Salad needs to have more sweetness and richness to it (ie. add dried cranberries, feta cheese, remove the mushroom, etc). The chicken sandwich was a bit dry, while the two sauces were very similar (perhaps switch one of the sauces to white sauce such as ranch or thousand island, and put more mayonnaise inside the sandwich itself). The steak was surprisingly good due to ow it was cooked. The mashed potato needed to be served warmer.
The red velvet coffin dessert was great. The brain dessert tasted ok, but was fun to look at.
I get how the aesthetics need to match the theme in this restaurant, but I hope they consider that taste is the higher priority for most people.

Don’t get the low rating for this place the theming is awesome and the food was good. Yes it’s overpriced but your in a theme park! We had the chicken sandwich and the salmon. Both were good the mash potatoes with the salmon was delicious. The chicken sandwich was big enough and all though not the best I’ve had worse. The orange sauce wasnt too sweet but would prefer something much spicier as an option. The panna cotta dessert was actually pretty delicious but the shape wasn’t as good as I’ve seen so for interesting pictures the red velvet cake might be a better option.
@Universal— please add complimentary cups of water as an option on the app!! Would save everyone so much time!

Other reviews give the food a 3/5 and atmosphere 5/5, but I personally really liked my salmon, “fish on a stake”! I love the theming so much.
My salmon was cooked perfectly and the acorn squash, mashed potatoes, and roasted carrots went so well and my toddler got to have a tiny bit of vegetables in a theme park, which is wonderful!
The red velvet cake was not too sweet!!!!!!!! There’s a place back home that makes an incredibly too sweet red velvet cake and this one was perfect. I loved the way they added an Oreo type crumbs and rice crisps as dirt and maggots haha!
A family member got the chicken on a stake and she hated it but had never heard of chimichurri sauce! She called it chimichanga sauce and said it had a kick and scraped it all off. Sigh.
My dearest had the pork belly and loved it.
The staff went above and beyond by cleaning the high chair for us that was dirty from the last family! Thank you so much. This was Alexa 12/20/2025 dinner. She was great!!

Located inside Dark Universe. I don’t understand why this place gets such low reviews because honestly, the food here is some of the best I’ve had in a theme park. The salmon was delicious and cooked to perfection, and the pork belly with BBQ sauce and mashed potatoes was amazing. The fries were well-seasoned and flavorful. For dessert, the Labotocotta Greek yogurt vanilla panna cotta brain with raspberry sauce was super tasty!!!

Of course it’s ridiculously overpriced. But it was expected as you are not just paying for the food. It’s nicely themed and the plating looks interesting I will give it that.
I couldn’t believe food can be this BAD… It’s not just “this is not for me” bad or “not worth the price” bad. It’s just straight out bad. awful. Both burger and chicken are so dry and bland. It feels like chewing wood. I feel emotionally damaged after finishing all the awful food here…

Das Stakehaus is a really fun place to eat. The food is decent to good by theme park standards, and the atmosphere is appropriately creepy for a restaurant in Darkmoor. Most of the foods are served on a “stake”/skewer, hence the name. I think we ate in a crypt, but there are other creepily appointed rooms in the establishment as well. I don’t know who they hired to paint their pictures, but some goth artist had a field day – wander around and take in the artwork.

My brother and I ordered food here. I had steak and he had chicken wings and we were both floored by how good our food was.
I was also taken aback by how amazing the mead was! I could’ve just stayed here ordering mead for a few hours and just scrolling my phone and been happy.
The atmosphere was 10/10! It was creepy and unnerving. Every once in a while the lights dimmed and it was nice and eerie.
There is a lot of cool stuff to see around here from paintings and statues to just plain old decorations. It was nice to discover all the little details.
This is high on my recommend list!

10/11/2025 stopped here for some lunch. Ordered the hamburger with fries. Nothing special but it was better than we expected.
Theme park prices! $4.75 for a soft drink. $22 for a Bloody Mary! That’s nuts. Cool dark interior. The waitress was really nice and checked to see if anyone had any allergies, wouldn’t want someone dying at the most magical place in the world. Haha
The table next to us had 3 kids. Can’t imagine what their bill was $150+.

The food here was good and the interior is really interesting. Gothic themed. We waited quite a while for the food to come out but it did eventually and was still warm. Mobile ordering here.

This is a theme restaurant located in Dark Universal. When I entered, I heard the waiter say to me: Please enjoy your last meal. The atmosphere is really a bit weird, but the food here is very good, and the seats are comfortable. It is a good place to rest and enjoy the food. I also recommend everyone to try their desserts, the shapes are really interesting.
