We do a large variety of cakes and cupcakes made from scratch for any special occasion. Such as weddings, birthday, retirement, and graduation. We also have great homemade danish, fruit breads, dessert pastries and cookies. We have a wonderful store front to dine in and enjoy some treats with something to drink.

You won’t find a better bakery (or pastry chalet) in Colorado. The quality and the value of what they offer is off the charts amazing. Truly. I come from family owned businesses and they have a good thing going with many of the family members that have been there for many years. I got the wedding cake for my daughter’s wedding in 2016 and my own wedding just a month ago.
I have to drop the service to a four for because they refuse to adapt to the times and allow for credit or debit cards. They only allow payment by cash or check. And while I can respect the savings in fees, I would also be willing to pay much more to make up for the difference for them. Comparatively speaking, you will likely pay 50% less than other bakeries in town for a hundred times the quality. It may not be to my (or your) benefit, but I’ve told them on more than one occasion that they really could raise their prices.
They are also a very, very busy place, with a single phone line (without call-waiting). So, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called and gotten a busy signal.
They have heard my comments in person and simply reply that they are “just an old-fashioned business.” 43 years old in fact, and still going strong.
I will remain a loyal customer for life, as I truly love their products and staff, so I’ll take the good with the “old-fashioned” and still recommend them often.

We got married in September of this year and ordered our wedding cake from Das Meyer. We came in with my husband’s parents to do the cake tasting a few months prior – what a wonderful experience! They were so kind and accommodating. We were so FULL of cake when we left. We decided on the almond flavor and did a three tier cake. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got on the cake. I honestly wish we had had more cake left but by the time we got home we realized there was only one slice left! The service was amazing. This bakery is our absolute favorite. You will not regret ordering your wedding cake from here. I promise you.
