I felt compelled to leave a review after reminiscing on how Das has changed. I started coming in 2021 and the service, environment, and consistency have significantly dropped.
Bartenders/staff are often rude and disorganized (my debit card was once given to a random customer). I get a very weird vibe from most of the people who work there. They also over serve extremely intoxicated people.
The environment can feel uncomfortable at times. I have seen a lot of straight men harass/grope strangers and staff were not receptive and allowed the men to stay on the dance floor. I’ve even seen victims get kicked out for defending themselves
Overall, I never know what to expect from a night as Das Haus. Will I be charged $20 to get in at 1 AM? Will the music be decent or a put me to sleep? Will I leave with my own debit card?
Unfortunately this is one of the only places to dance in Lincoln and I do have some great memories here. Would love to see some changes!

good visit for cliquey and entitled people when you go for entertainment and socialization as an “outcast”. i have gone to several events where the host of the night will call out audience members for simply having a LOOK on their face, not knowing their situation whatsoever. will be letting everyone know how pathetic this place really is. amazing bar staff for the most part, however.

GOT YELLED AT TWICE FOR NO REASON. Whatever you do don’t write on the condensation on the windows THEY WILL UNNECESSARILY YELL AT YOU AND SCOLD YOU AND LOOK AT YOU WITH DISGUST AND TELL THE BARTENDERS WHILE STILL LOOKING AT US. just ask us not to next time. Then my friend had her eyes closed for two seconds while we waited for the uber and he got in her face and told her to keep her eyes open. The bouncer with the beard and mullet needs to be nicer. Sorry.

Why the hell is there a cover charge at 1:30 a.m. on Halloween night?! This is one of the only places to dance in lincoln and they drop the ball at every turn. Bad music mixs, ai generated visuals to go with the shitty music, the volume on 150, asking for a cover 30min to close. Alienating an entire base of young gays who are currently trying their best to survive in the current climate(me included)

Love this place. It’s the only bar I ever want to go to. Was just there for the divos show and it rocked my socks off

This place is very cliquey. Also this place used to be a fun place to go to when the drag shows were actually drag and not what they have turned into. A lot of almost nude entertainers and the bar staff isnt always the best. It is also very loud and obnoxious at times and you will leave with your head pounding and ears ringing.

Some nights there are covers but typically doesn’t exceed $10. Pretty inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community. I love the local drag talent that performs there! They also have a baby drag talent night at least once a month for new performers that want to get some experience. The drag artists that I’ve met there are great people, even outside of drag. In addition to drag performances, they regularly host watch parties, karaoke nights, etc. Das has really improved the ambiance since I first started going there. There is a small seating area off the bar and additional tables in the stage area, but ultimately not enough seating for the amount of attendees, so you may expect to stand. The bar is fully stocked but it often takes a long time to get served because there is not enough staff for the crowds (at least when I’ve attended). Very fun place to be on a weekend

just fire the DJ at this point. also, if you’re under 30 don’t bother with this place. its sad because this is one of the only queer bars in town and the only familiar dance floor to me but I haven’t had a good time here since I was 19. please for the love of god play better music.

Happiest little Haus in Lincoln. Always a great time, I highly recommend Tia Pet’s show “Piñata” that occurs every first Saturday of the month or their weekly karaoke nights! All the girls are amazing performers and the club always has a great vibe.

It was weird being ignored for 10 mins by the bartender Cameron, and being told by Cameron to not “throw my hands at bartenders” during pride month. Don’t know what he meant by that. As I never so much as waved at him, but whatever. The drag queens always put up a wonderful show, and deserve a watch, but the bar staff need customer service classes, especially towards people of color. I noticed Cameron helping ever white man he could, and flat out averting my gaze. Anyway good way to show solidarity during pride month! Especially towards gays of color!
