My wife and I had a very pleasent experience at the Das Good Cafe. The breakfast had a unique flare of flavors using Southeast Asian sauces. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about ingredients in the sauces and their origin in the country of Laos.

I’m pretty sure this is the best full-service breakfast up or down the Chestnut Hill-to-Germantown stretch. We got the Lao and Viet style breakfasts and both were delicious: bright, savory, satisfying. Very quick and friendly service and fairly priced. They have a ton of fancy iced teas and coffees (my Vietnamese iced coffee was perfect). This goes right on my list of the best spots in NW Philly.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant feeling optimistic, and I must say the food was incredible! The service was exceptional as well. We started with chicken cheesesteak rolls and beef empanadas, both of which exceeded our expectations. For our main courses, we ordered the salmon BLT and salmon with rice. Our server, Anders, provided outstanding service and was very attentive. This place is definitely worth a visit!

It’s all in the name: you take one bite, and you gotta say it’s GOOD. You get a good sized plate, especially for both the price and quality. Great service, truly amazing food, this place is on my repeat list. I will be bringing all my friends here. Seriously so good! I got the Vietnamese style breakfast and my life was forever changed.

We had the pleasure of dining at this cafe. The owner is kind and didn’t mind taking the time to speak with us. We must say that it takes a great person to employ such great people.
His Hostess and Sioux Chef had wonderful personalities. Which impelled us to dine in.
We ordered Teriyaki Salmon, Collard Greens, and Garlic Rice with Sweet Chili Fried Wings. Everything was fresh!! The greens were fresh NOT canned, the Salmon was juicy and the Garlic rice was just right.
The cafe is clean and giving cozy vibes. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, check them out.

Awesome addition to the Germantown brunch scene. Wide variety on the menu, lots of made in house items. The friendly service is enjoyable. Ive been with my parents, and with my kids. Go for brunch on your way to grocery shop at the Co-op a few doors down.

We got the chicken and waffles (4.5/5), the Vietnamese breakfast (4/5), the hilo breakfast (4/5), and a Vietnamese coffee (3.7/5). The food was very good and the vibes were very comfy. They sold so many desserts and frozen togo meals as well as sauces! The Vietnamese coffee was too sweet but my friend said it’s usually less sweet so maybe just today. I got the Vietnamese breakfast and the chicken was so good!! I wish it was a bit more saucier but lucky I got sunny side up eggs to dip the chicken in. The chicken and waffle were good it lacked some salt. The hilo breakfast patties were soo good!!

The food was so good. It’s a smaller spot so if you have a bigger crowd I would order to go. The drinks were good as well.

Anu the owner is the man! And Das Good truly lives up to its name. Everything is incredibly tasty. I had the Vietnamese Breakfast and all I can say is chefs kiss. Lemongrass chicken is so flavorful and savory. The simple garlic fried rice , the chicken spring rolls. Listen if you’re ever in town it’s a must go! Thank you Anu for unlocking a new level of cuisine for me.
