I originally found this spot because it is fairly near my home, and wanted to try something different than Starbucks. I was so pleased to find the espresso and coffee made differently and the solo espresso shot feels more like two. As a health and fitness professional, I feel as though it works with my system far better than other coffees. Finding out their ethical standards and process had me appreciate it even more, beyond the obvious espresso jitter. I have enjoyed the smooth, peaceful vibe and have found myself able to get great work done amidst an elevated demographic that is also focused on entrepreneurial development. Once overheard a Hollywood screenwriter and a producer discussing their current project nearby, another time the henderson fire dept was here supporting cancer survival and of course the locals who need the daily fix.
Its a welcoming, friendly place to get what you need and I sat back from reviewing because I didn’t want to share what a gem I believe it to be.
You won’t regret making it a priority to check out, especially for this winter season.
Ask for Josh! He also explains things about coffees that you may not know.
Overall… great experience, highly recommend.

First time here and once I walked in I was greeted with a hello from Isaac. I informed Isaac that it was my first time and he gladly told me what was popular here and their newest items! He raved about their strawberry syrup, although I went with a Vanilla Bean Latte, I’ll be trying that strawberry syrup next time! My first sip of the Vanilla Bean Latte was AMAAAAZING! it’s made with their housemade Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla which was super tasty, just as it sounds! I had him help me with the sweetness level on a scale of 1-10 and he rated it a 6.5. So I went sweeter because I have sweet teefs! I also got their ham & cheese croissant warmed up and it was super tasty and gourmet! They toasted it and it definitely has a nice crunch. It was soft and warm inside! I came in on a Tuesday just before 1pm and it was pretty calm inside, which I love! Highly recommend this place!! I’ll be back!!!

Steve and Paco was awesome! Very detailed, explained everything and was funny.
Almond croissant: 10/10 (better than most almond croissants).
Apple pie croissant: 8/10
Colombian not washed pour over: 8.5/10 (noticeable chocolate, light raspberry, could be a hair more balance but Excellent)

I was in the area and like shop for different coffee, I came across Dark Moon, and they did not disappoint. I was helped by Isaac and Jenelle. We ordered 3 different coffees (lavender latte, vanilla bourbon latte and salarse caramel latte) they were alll very great. Had a chocolate croissant as well, and it was also great and good size. Will be back!

Limited review as we only visited once, so far.
Impressive.
Costa Rica med-light roast on pour-iver. I can see how paying over $5 (<$8 w/ tip) can be off putting. Dominant notes of dried cherries, and a lack of the indusrty standard "bold dark brew" is SUCH a relief.
Nice clean and tidy place. Helpful friendly staff. Quite a bit of traffic still afyer 10 a.m.. easy parking in an ample lot.
If I have one critique, it comes with the flip side. The pour over came with hot ceramics. 8t might bebefit if the cup sat on the pot. But, then it’d collect steam on the bottom…
Folks with obvious skill and attemtion to detail.
If this were in my neighborhood, I’d likely rethink my move towards tea.
Pastries are not theirs, so, skipping that portion of the menu. Many options here, if you are willing to be adventurous.

I found this place a little over two weeks ago and I’ve already came here about 5 times. It is amazing place from working on your laptop to bringing friends. They have amazing music but you can easy have a conversation or zoom call without interruptions.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg because we haven’t even talked about the amazing people who work here- they MAKE the cafe. Janelle is so sweet & Paco and Stevie bring so much energy. Together they have so much passion, knowledge, and excitement. I tell everyone about this place and if you haven’t been here, you’re missing out- from there cute reusable to go cups, to brewing cold brew (and for the girlies AMAZING matcha), tasteful playlist, to being there for you and cheering you on! These are your people.

Decided to try this place out since it’s close to where I work. Josh was very helpful in picking a drink and informing me about their cold brew which is also sold at WholeFoods!
If I lived closer, I’d definitely come to study. There’s outlets available and the seats are comfy with plenty of seating.

Stevie and Dely were amazing. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and this is hands down the best coffee and matcha in southern Nevada. Whenever I have visitors from out of town, I bring them here and they agree that it’s top notch!

Absolutely love this spot. Great, unique selection of drinks. They always have a solid selection of rotating seasonal lattes, matchas, and cold foam to add on their outstanding cold brew. Probably the best cold brew I’ve ever had. The ambience is chill inside the shop. Definitely a spot you can post up and work at. Their pastries are really good and they recently added these reaaaally delicious breakfast burritos. All the staff is super friendly too. Josh the barista was really welcoming and had great customer service.

I’m from Portland and have been desperate to find a good coffee spot in Henderson and I’m so thankful to have found Dark Moon!! The croissants are amazing, the coffee is always delicious and the service is friendly! Steven and Paco are the best!
