Dark Horse came highly recommended from the MSP Burgers Facebook page. The burger and fries were great. The only gripe is the service was very slow when we first arrived, but I understand they were busy and our waiter had his hands full. I have seen tons of reviews on MSP Burgers and no complaints about service, so it was likely an anomaly. I definitely recommend the Dark Horse burger and the pizza also looks amazing.

Amazing food and customer service! The Dark Horse has always been our date night spot. The flavors are on point. The breaded wings are so good!!

I really wanted to like the revamped Dark House. But the pizza was so inferior to the previous version under prior ownership that I doubt I’ll return. The slices were too soggy at the middle to be able to pick up. I had to cut half of each slice with a fork and knife. The cocktails were excellent though. I had the Swingers and the Cosmonot

I thought it was great. I ordered the berbere chicken and I’m still thinking about it 20 days later. So much flavor. My husband thinks the burger he had was one of the best in the cities, his only regret was not getting the double.
Edit: you can’t get the berbere chicken any more which is super stupid.

Beautiful atmosphere and spacious, great for small groups or to just chill at the bar. I had the fish sandwich with fries. Fries were still undercooked and the fish had no flavour presented on a bun with raw cabbage and tartar sauce. Gave the food a 1 but drinks were great, will try something else on the menu a next time.

So happy to see Dark Horse open and vibrant again! We couldn’t choose what to get, so we ordered an extra entree so we didn’t miss out. The chicken sandwich is a must, the mushroom burger was the perfect comfort food, and the meatballs/pasta was the perfect entree to make sure we had leftovers. If you like a creamy Caesar dressing, you’re going to LOVE that as well.
Congrats Sarah & Shane for the wonderful menu and atmosphere!!

Took a friend here for his birthday. The atmosphere of this place is upscale but not intimidating and still cozy. I was a big fan of the previous Dark Horse and this revival pays homage to the old one in the best ways possible while adding something new to the atmosphere. In keeping with the “spirit” of the old space: a refined and expansive spirits menu. Mocktail options, THC choices, a generous selction of cocktails and other things on tap. Try the wondrous punch (not pictured) – it comes with a special surprise.
The food on this menu is excellent. We’ve got croquettes, of which there is only one pictured on the plate, because we ate them that fast. PERFECT texture. Crunchy crispy on the outside, buttery and warm on the inside. I had these for the first time a few weeks ago and when I tell you I dream about them, I do. The rigatoni had a good al dente texture and was a little on the spicier side. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich which comes with a housemade Thai basil aioli. My chicken sandwich was perfectly crisp on the outside, but juicy and tender on the inside. The breading was also well seasoned. We also enjoyed the shishito peppers. Do not be alarmed: these do not pack a punch when it comes to heat. They are chewy, fragrant, and have a sweet aftertaste which pairs well with the lime sauce and cotija cheese. It’s great to see this gem return to the neighborhood and I hope to be back here again and again.

It seemed like a cool enough place , but I feel like they may have been understaffed or they just weren’t that great at checking on people. Went in for one drink and waited 20 minutes to cash out and my husband had to go and ask her. We were one of five people at the bar.

The wings with dill rub & ranch were great. My partner got a kimchi burger and said it was just ok. The ambiance is good, I would go back.

The service was phenomenal. The restaurant was clean and looked gorgeous. The food however was not worth it. Comparable to a hospital cafeteria burger basket. The dark horse burger had zero flavor. The menu says it has fried onions on it- they are more caramelized/sautéed…not fried. The DH sauce didn’t taste like anything and was barely a drop of it on my burger. The fries are just run of the mill frozen shoestrings. Really disappointed in my experience as I’ve been looking forward to trying them ☹️
