Open 7 days a week 11am-2am, Dark Horse is a full-service bar, restaurant – open seven days a week for lunch, dinner, and your late-night hunger and thirst fix. Located on the neck in Annapolis MD, our menu is based on traditional American fare complemented by our draft and bottled beer list, crafted cocktails, and our select wine offerings. Got takeout a pretzel with crab dip and half order of deviled eggs. Good food, fair price, friendly service. Plan to return to try some of their other items. Edit: Returned to try their fish & chips, came with ketchup and tarter sauce, enough food for 2 people and very good!

4 years ago…Best Fish Sandwich (I’d show you, but it’s gone!), mac-n-cheese and tots! Never had a bad meal here since it became the Dark Horse. Great people and service too.

This is not what i was expecting at all in a really wonderful way. The music selection was really great and even with all of the screens with sports, i didn’t feel like it was sensory overload. The stickers around the bar and the different flags and banners hanging really bought personality into the space. The staff are so attentive and treated us like we were regulars. The wings were delicious and that old bay buffalo sauce is fantastic. I loved that the cheese fries had a combination of shedded cheese and cheese sauce. It kept the fries from being too soggy but kept a good cheese to fry ratio. My husbands sandwich was very generous. I will definitely come back!

A very local filled dive bar with big portions and fair prices. Very lively for the area, the bartenders are super welcoming and the food is comforting.
Prices might be high for some but stick with the weekly deals.
There’s darts, a pool table, and small tables in the back to hang around and chat.

Great food, please get the BLT. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS!!! It’s a bar, but it’s family friendly!! This place has more TVs than bestbuy. And the service is impeccable. The service is above all reproach. Super Bice and the service is lightening fast.

Isabel doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Perhaps she was the individual that puked in the bar and was then told to clean it up herself, and as a result thinks the staff is rude.

If you’re looking to drink well and eat food that will soak up the alcohol, this is a great place to do so. Contrary to other reviews, I think the prices are reasonable for what you get compared to other places in the area. Good drink specials and happy hour prices. Attentive staff who keep the drinks flowing. Mostly a locals joint.

Dawn is the sweetest and nicest bartender here. She just brightens up the place by far!!! Though be warned she don’t take no shit from lame pardons that are miserable and take it out on industry people. Kudos to her and tip your bartender people this is how they buy food for their children. Cheap drinks too so definitely a reason to tip.

Great dive bar with fast, friendly service and patrons, no nonsense. Food is great and beers are ice cold! Great spot to watch sports as they have a multitude of TVs setup all around the bar.
