Stopped here to get a photo of the Big Boy and a quick bite. We had burgers that were just ok, but the staff and customers were very friendly. I didn’t indulge, but the ice cream looked wo perfume & thet have a lot of flavors.

What a delightful place to stop and eat. The atmosphere is great with the black and white tile and the bar stools as well as booths. We had fried chicken and fried shrimp. Both were great. Our waitress was not only efficient and kind but cute.

This place was really good. The food was decent and the ice cream options were fantasy. The ice cream was excellent. I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable and the portions were huge. It can get busy at time, but the line moves quickly.

Absolutely unbeatable value. The food is good, the ice cream is good, a nice river view, seating inside or outside, quick/friendly service…for a very reasonable amount of money. I can’t think of a single thing to complain about. They have great pretzel buns you can upgrade your burger to for $1.
OH, and did I mention I’m a VEGETARIAN?! DJ has not one but TWO veggie burger options (both quite good), fried pickles and EGGPLANT FRIES…and excellent sweet potato waffle fries. I appreciate that and will be coming back at least once a week until they close up shop.

A local treasure. Great food, great ice cream and the prices are fair. Huge menu to. I highly recommend the turkey super-melt, fries, maple cream soft serve, and on Thursdays the prime rib dinner.

A classic neighborhood diner, with unbelievable, lobster rolls, A burger with 100% Angus beef and local Vermont cheddar cheese…5.95! Come on! No wonder all the truckers stop here on their way. True, there are some upscale restaurants in Bellows Falls, and and at least three are truly excellent. Love those too. But Dari Joy is something else. Don’t miss it.
