Found this enjoyable small tavern looking for a interesting lunch. Very tasty lunch it was off a small interesting menu that was done well. Started with the Tavern chips – these were sliced so thin and crisp and a pleasure to eat. Sliders are usually slapped together but the pulled pork had good flavor and the meat on my filet slider was tender & perfectly cooked. Darby’s also has a fair sized beer and wine menu. Our server Emma was very helpful and friendly. A spot we’d return if just to try their burgers.

I had such a great experience at Darby’s on Fifty-Nine! The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I tried the filet mignon sandwich with hand-cut chips, and it was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The mahi tacos were another standout — light, fresh, and topped with just the right amount of pineapple salsa for a sweet, tangy bite.
We also shared the crispy tempura green beans appetizer, which came out hot and perfectly seasoned with a creamy dipping sauce that paired beautifully.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being rushed. I also loved the local beer and cider selection on tap — great options to pair with a casual dinner.
This is the perfect neighborhood spot for great food, drinks, and a laid-back but elevated dining experience. Highly recommend stopping by!

I think our server’s name was Jamie. Her recommendations were spot on. It might be the best burger I’ve ever had in Ohio. In these people are doing fries perfectly. Fresh cut fries are life. If you’re in the area this is the only place to eat.

My husband and I stopped in last night for a casual dinner at the bar, and everything—from drinks to dinner—was phenomenal.
We started with two cocktails: the Autumn Old Fashioned and the Cinnamon Apple Margarita—both perfectly balanced and full of cozy fall flavor. The Pub Chips appetizer was addicting, crisp and seasoned just right with that parmesan-garlic combo.
For dinner, my husband ordered the Filet Mignon Tacos, and I went with the Pan-Seared Scallops over Pumpkin Risotto. Both dishes were absolutely outstanding. The tacos were tender and flavorful, but the scallops honestly stole the show—perfectly seared, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I’ve eaten scallops at places like Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas, and these might actually top them.
Even though the bar was busy, our bartender was on top of everything—friendly, attentive, and clearly knows their craft.
Darby’s has such a welcoming atmosphere and elevated yet comfortable vibe. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I’ll definitely remember this place when I’m passing through again. The atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming and offers both inside and outside dining. I expected the food to be good, but it far surpassed my expectations. You can tell that every menu item is very thought out and executed perfectly. I ordered the Ohio burger with sweet potato fries and had an appetizer of Tempura green beans. These weren’t regular green beans, mind you, and they’re so good that I’ve heard it’s what they’re famous for, and i can definitely see why. Don’t skip this place if you’re in the area. You won’t regret it.

I can’t believe it’s taken us so long to finally go to the restaurant! We always hit up the Darby’s food truck when we see it, and the food is always incredible.
The green beans were incredible and a must try!
Usually I order sweet potato fries with the assumption I will be disappointed, but Darby’s has the best sweet potato fries!

I recently went to Darbys on 59 and can say that the service and food are amazing. The elote fries as an appetizer are a must have! The filet mignon slider was also amazing. Definitely recommend coming here. Can’t wait to come back and try the tempura green beans!
