I stopped in this restaurant to get lunch! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into the takeout restaurant and it is purely take out. I was greeted and ordered:

Grilled Fish with Vegetable Lo Mein
Lamb Chop with Fried Rice
Darbars Hot Chicken Sandwich
Strawberry and Vanilla Milkshake
The food took about 15 minutes. When I dug in the food was really good! My favorite definitely was the shrimp fried rice! It was a really good experience!

Ive given this location multiple shots hoping it would get better each time, but it has not. Vegetable fried rice had no vegetables, and the chicken wings i got tasted and smelled undercooked. Last month i ordered from here and had the same problem, i figured the quality had got better considering there first location is amazing. But this location does not have the taste nor quality than the original location.

This location in Rosedale is the worst I have had. Liberty Ave location is the best. The customer service socks. The guy at the front doesn’t know the menu or can’t recommend anything. I ordered the fired rice and lomein which was ok. What bothered me is that I added a 3 piece chicken to my order. When I got home to my surprise I got 2 wings and a pigeon leg. The chicken was over fried. Sorry I didn’t check my order when I was still at the location. 2 pieces of the chicken was also not fully cooked…..very disappointed as I am a loyal customer.
This location needs to step up their game……

Prices on the menu are wrong, they don’t have most of the things on the menu. The one piece with salad says 6.99 when I ordered it the lady said it was 9.99. Also no seating.

First time ordering from Danbar Restaurant – Rosedale and it will definitely be my last.
I live literally 5 minutes away, yet my order took over an hour to prepare and deliver. When it finally arrived, it was the wrong order.
Before leaving a review, I called the restaurant to give them a chance to fix it. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She told me to “use the app” and said she didn’t have time to address the issue. This was my first time ever having an issue with an app order, and instead of helping, she brushed me off completely.
She claimed the driver got the order wrong, but regardless of whose fault it was, her attitude was unacceptable. No empathy, no apology, no effort to resolve the problem. Someone with that kind of demeanor should never be the front-facing person of any establishment.
I was so frustrated by how nasty and dismissive she was that I had to hang up the phone.
Food mistakes happen – but customer service like this is inexcusable. Save your money and your peace. The customer service here is terrible.

The food here is excellent. One of the few places that has barbecue lamb. I also had the shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was great and a bit spicy… Yum!!!!

Brought food from here for the first time and it was absolutely delicious!! The cashier was so kind and answered any questions we had. I do have a seafood allergy and was able to order the chicken fried rice with no cross contamination. We had also purchased the house special fried rice with shrimp beef and chicken as well as some mixed chicken and beef over rice platters. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. I will note that the fried rice was on the more oily side but tasted great nonetheless. Loved it!
