The food was absolutely amazing—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I’m so grateful to my Vietnamese friend for bringing us here, as it turned into such a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly hospitable and our Thai waiter was attentive and entertaining, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, not only was the food outstanding, but the entire experience was exceptional.

Bright and welcoming atmosphere. Great service and wonderful food. The best thing we ate was the caramel chicken (didn’t get a picture). You must get this if coming here because it was so good. We got a second order to take home with us. I’d recommend this place to anyone in Athens that needs a break from traditional Greek food. We also had the grilled pork banh mi, fried rice, and a salad bowl. All were delicious. Bathrooms downstairs are nice and clean.

Loved it here! A hidden gem! Walking distance to the hotel we stayed at, 1. the restaurant is very clean 2. everything was flavorful, delicious Banh Mi and Pho (Lol I wanted to lick my bowl afterwards, oops) 3. the employees were hospitable and so kind. I highly recommend this place when needing to satisfy comfort food craving and altogether.

The food here is absolutely delicious, and the young staff are lovely, enthusiastic, and very polite. The owner – a Vietnamese lady – is also incredibly warm and attentive. It’s rare to see a restaurant owner personally serving, bringing dishes to tables, and greeting guests like she does, which shows just how dedicated she is.
The food was amazing – the bún chả was perfectly seasoned (though I was too eager to eat and forgot to take a photo!).
As for the pho – it was outstanding. Sipping the sweet, beefy, steaming broth made me feel completely refreshed.
I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Athens! ❤️

Best Vietnamese restaurant in Athens!!
In our 6 days stay in Athens we went to eat here 4times my favorite is papaya salad and vegan pho. Vegan pho soup was rich and delicious. Veggies are fresh. My husband had beef pho. He said it is one of the best he had including pho in Vietnam!!
Staff is very friendly too.
If anyone is craving Vietnamese food in Athens this is the place to go 🙂

We’d been in Greece for nearly a week and Dao offered a refreshing change of pace.
Just be careful if you’re vegan because they list a vegan banh mi but it comes with regular mayonnaise. I only knew because I asked to verify, so I would just be sure to ask about what you order to be sure.
The food we got was nice, though, especially with the heat.

Great spot for truly vegan Vietnamese food. Been to Vietnam a bit and this stands up. Dishes were bright and fresh — especially the rolls.

Visited for lunch and wanted something “refreshing” as it was unbearably hot outside. Decided on this salad and it was perfect! Lots of veggies, flavorful meat, and it was huge. Wish we lived in Athens so we could try their other dishes.
