I like the speciality cocktails. My partner is a sake drinker. The sushi is consistently fresh and so tasty. We always start with a bowl of Tom Kha Gai soup that is the perfect blend of mild sweetness and spicy! I gave 4 stars because the specialty rolls are a little heavy on cream cheese and/or tempura choices for my liking. But that’s a matter of personal choice and doesn’t mean they’re bad. Loved Tammy our server!

Husband took me there for the first time on Valentine’s Day. There was a lot of hype of it being a fancy sushi place. I ordered the coconut shrimp- and although tasty was not coconut shrimp, not even a hint of coconut, was just large fried shrimp. We also got sushi and crab Rangoon, which was good but nothing amazing
The server we had was very sweet, but the service was extremely slow, but given it was Valentine’s Day I understood.
The real reason i won’t give 5 stars is because of the lighting! It was weirdly dim but blinding at the same time, I felt unusually dizzy because of it. Also the place wasn’t very clean, the bathrooms especially were very gross.

It would be great if they got my order correct. So all the items were as i ordered except my green curry with shrimp that i paid extra for just to get red curry with tofu. Disappointing. And btw i was offered to go and pick up the correct one. Seriously?

The sushi chef deserves an ovation every time a plate leaves his station. Servers aren’t pushy and give you space to enjoy your dining experience. The music is at a comfortable level and the acoustics don’t have you keyed into other patrons conversations and vice versa. Such a great place.

What a nice Sushi place! We moved in the area and love eating sushi with my wife. The fish was fresh and delicious. It was priced fairly and it is a big restaurant with a very chill vibe! We are looking forward for our next time there. Highly recommended!

I am very particular about my sushi, and these guys nailed it! Stopped in for lunch and ordered the spicy tuna and Rockin’ Napalm rolls, while my husband got the Mongolian beef. Both rolls were absolutely delicious, along with the beef, and the Rockin Napalm is now my go-to any time I’m craving sushi! I’d have added a photo, but they were so good I ate them too fast to take a photo!

Actually had reservations somewhere else but accidents on the highway made us stumble onto Dao, and we’re glad we did. Situated in a strip mall of restaurants you would never know it when you walk in the door. Stylish and open the decor was really nice. The food is fantastic, chicken satay was cooled well and the peanut sauce was 10/10. The tom kha gai soup was top notch, and our curry’s were just delicious. They were not only very good flavor wise, they were large enough you take home for dinner. My red curry was loaded with shrimp. We will be back, they also do hibatchi and sushi which we have to try.

DAO Sushi is a great spot for fresh, delicious sushi and a welcoming atmosphere. The rolls are flavorful, beautifully made, and the sashimi is incredibly fresh. Staff is friendly, attentive, and the service is quick. A perfect place for a casual meal or a night out. Definitely worth a visit!

Went with my youngest kiddo. Portions were huge, good for the price. Flavor was good/okay, not great. Photo attached was a kids meal for $12. That is amazing portions and could feed my 10/11 yr old kids. Massaman Curry was okay. Labelled as spicy, but honestly didn’t have much of any spice to it. Very watery broth, ended up leaving a lot of broth behind as there was no good way to transport it home.
Overall, fine visit. Might not be a go-to, but still decent.
