We went to Dante’s Italian Restaurant on a Tuesday around 4 o’clock and were greeted right away and seated immediately. The atmosphere was so welcoming! Dante himself walked around greeting tables and chatting with guests like family. I also noticed they renovated since the last time I was there, and it’s absolutely beautiful. For food, we had the housemade rigatoni vodka and a chicken francese with penne vodka side. Everything was delicious and clearly made with love. They even brought out warm bread and garlic knots as part of the table service, which was such a nice touch. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish, and I can’t wait to go back!

Honestly, this is one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had.
I paid $26 and $25 — $51 total — for a pickup order, and what I received should never have been sold as restaurant food.

I understand pre-made food exists. What I do NOT understand is serving food that is clearly not properly cooked or reheated. The pasta was clumped together, the sauce was unevenly heated and barely warm, and the meatballs felt warm on the outside but cold and underheated inside. It tasted like something rushed through a microwave with zero care.

This isn’t about personal taste — this is about basic food quality and responsibility. For $51, this was insulting. It genuinely felt like the customer was an afterthought.

I will never order from here again, and I strongly warn anyone considering pickup to think twice. Charging this price for food in this condition is unacceptable. Absolutely terrible.

It was our first time dining at Dante’s and WOW—everything was absolutely amazing! The food was beyond delicious. I’ve never had fried calamari served with shredded carrots before, but it added such a unique and incredible flavor. The white clam linguine was hands-down my favorite—so rich, flavorful, and perfectly made!

My son Giuseppe ordered the skirt steak and loved it so much that he cleaned his entire plate—and he’s only 5 years old! That alone says everything about how incredible the food was. Truly exquisite.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to Julian. He wasn’t even our server—he was the busboy—but he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Honestly, more attentive than our server! He would make an amazing server and definitely deserves recognition.

Thank you, Dante’s, for such a fantastic dining experience. We can’t wait to come back!

We were driving by and hoping for an average place but found a diamond in Leonia. The service, food and atmosphere are exceptional. Dante the chef came out to see if everything was good and Yuri checked on us. This personal touch at restaurants is a lost art. Excellent place. We will return. Thank you Yuri and Dante for an amazing experience.

Came for a late tuesday dinner. A casual BYOB italian place with a lovely staff. We enjoyed the garlic bread the best. Our pastas (spinach ravioli & Ziti Sicilian) were sadly too bland, very large portion for the ziti as well.

Great local spot! Everything was delicious!

We got the calamari and the mesclun and pear salad for appetizers. The entrees we got were the ziti Sicilian with eggplant and ricotta, linguini bolognese, and the broiled seafood with capellini.

Adding to our local rotation for sure!

Excellent menu choices, I particularly love the Halibut and risotto option. I’ve also hosted 2 baptisms in the private party room, they’ve customized the menus for my parties. I couldn’t be more happy with the excellent service and delicious food! I highly recommend Dante’s.

Ordered delivery through UberEats for the first time due to good reviews. Service and delivery was very fast. However, the food, not good at all. I ordered a Margherita pizza that was supposed to have fresh mozzarella and basil. The dough and crust were so thick that I thought it was breadsticks from the $.99 cent store.. but even worse. The cheese was more akin to American processed cheese than fresh mozz. Only redeeming dish I had was the Fish Francese. Chicken Parm: bad. Eggplant Rollatine: bad. Calamari: decent. Sorry, but I would never order from here ever again.

We stopped in to grab a bite. The server read our table and made it an experience worth talking about. She catered to my grandson, joked with my daughter. And Let my husband feel like a big King. Lol great job. Food was awesome, perfectly timesd and flavor profile was amazing.
