Dante’s is the best! Tony and Lisa were so kind to help host a short notice group of 20 of us (including 10 kids!) in their back room for New Years Eve daytime and they made it really perfect. The staff was friendly, attentive and flexible – everyone had a blast. Loved the balsamic calamari (recommended by Lisa), the focaccia, and everyone was raving about a rigatoni shrimp dish. We really love Dante’s and will be back soon – thank you to the whole staff!

Dante’s is a quaint, authentic Italian restaurant. I had a very satisfying meal and lovely experience overall. For appetizers, I really enjoyed the polpetti parm and the rice balls. The polpetti parm consisted of stuffed meatballs with cheese in a special sauce. I also ordered the fried rice balls, which also tasted very good. For my entree, I ordered the traditional chicken parmigiana over spaghetti, which was tender and well-prepared. Needless to say I left very full! The waiter was also funny, the prices weren’t bad, and the atmosphere was pleasant. This is the place to go for a good Italian dinner.

I was looking for an Italian restaurant that we haven’t tried yet for my wife and I to celebrate our 9-year anniversary. My parents suggested Dante’s and let me tell you, we were not disappointed! First off it’s a BYOB so we decided to bring a bottle of Italian red wine from one of favorite places we visited in Italy. We sat in their new outside dining area and it was really nice. One of the owners, Tony, came over to great us and we chatted for a bit. Extremely nice guy and we loved talking with him. Our waiter Tyler was quick, courteous, and very friendly. We ordered the rice balls for an appetizer, my wife had the salmon, and I had the pollo casa. We finished up with this AMAZING dessert (which Tony and Tyler recommended) which was a melted cookie in a skillet topped with gelato, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. The next day I saw a phone call from Mendham. It was Tony following up asking how our first meal was there. I’ve never had that happen before and it just made me feel like we weren’t just another customer. They really go above and beyond to make you feel like family which is the way that we remember feeling when we were in Italy in 2016. We highly recommend Dante’s for a romantic Italian dinner and we can’t wait to visit again.

This is my go-to Italian Restaurant; it has not disappointed me by far; hopefully not in the future. Great food especially the different kinds of Ravioli; excellent desert especially the seasonal special peach pie and blueberry butter cake, both with vanilla ice cream.

The food here is delicious. We dont live in the area and stopped by on our way home and had a very enjoyable meal. After reading some of these comments I am surprised by their experiences and options as experience is so different. Highly recommend for a tasty dinner! You won’t be disappointed

We traveled four hours from Vermont to have dinner at Dante’s. We’ve been coming here for twenty-five years… the calamari is simply “the best!” I always have the Chicken Francese, which is spectacular! The Capellini con Gamberi was so delicious that we must come back tomorrow! Now, as unbelievable as our dishes were, it was our server, Giuliana that made the evening absolutely perfect. She was delightfully conversational, attentive and truly made our evening very, very special! Thank you Giuliana!!
