After finding out the restaurant across the street was closed for the season, I tried Dante’s. The selection of food was minimal but done really well…. Tacos and the Mac and cheese .
I’ve been to a handful of restaurants in town and Dante’s is a good destination for the food, drinks, music, and atmosphere.

Have been here a few times now. The staff is fast, efficient, and pleasant. The food is good. The patio has lovely plants. They sometimes have live music too. I have always had a good time. My most recent visit, I happened to stop by the day of a fundraiser for the local animal shelter. It was really great idea with an adorable drink menu inspired by local dogs. Will definitely be back.

Dante’s Bar is no longer. The folks from Dig Deep Brewing in Cumberland have taken over, cleaned up and renovated. They offer daily food specials, a full bar and a selection of Dig Deep Brewing great beers along with a few guest beers from local and regional breweries at reasonable prices.
The stage and music side are still under renovations but when finished will boast the best sound system in the area and a top flight stage lighting system and will host the best of local, regional and national touring entertainment.
This will be the best venue in Western Maryland.

Amazing music venue. Awesome bartenders who know their taps and cocktails and are always willing to give suggestions. A smaller, but solid food menu, spotlighting locally grown and organic choices. My go to whenever I am ever in Frostburg.

This is a real bar! It is not TGIF-like! That said, the food is fantastic and inexpensive. We often get 3 tapas selections for the two of us and are filled. The beer selection is excellent in both draft and bottle. The ambiance is more “old bar” but the people are very friendly. Highly recommended but be prepared to be a bit nervous until you sit down! (The area is perfectly safe — this is downtown Frostburg!)

I always enjoy the jovial atmosphere here. They have a great selection of beers and cocktails. All kinds of spirits available here.
But the real deal on the menu is the SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE DIP which is simply fantastic. Come with nacho chips, its consistently well made.
That chicken sammich, jalepeno poppers, tacos, all good stuff. Good vegetarian options always.
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good time.
